This is so silly and low-key, i adore it. The bunny doesn't really have an identity- sometimes it's referred to as 'he' or 'she'. But all the characters on this thing are hilarious and wacky, and there is always a sweet music track in the background. It used to be on teletoon but they took it off the air a few years ago. Recommend to anyone who likes lax arbitrary madness. I guess kids like it too, 'cause it's cute and simple and doesn't need to be followed. it's just about the Bunny getting into daily situations. The best friend is a squirrel, and the enemy is a permanently furious blue emu. For instance, one episode he keeps running into a fox who is trying to propose to him, but he doges the situation because of the whole fox-predator bunny-prey thing. And then in this other one a cat invites him to a party and nick names him Mellow Yellow. Anyhow, let me know if you like the taste of this show. This is just about my all time favorite cartoon ;-)
... View MoreThe first time I watched Untalkative Bunny, it was because the title piqued my curiosity. After viewing one show, I was entranced. I had my 4 yr old grand-daughter watch it and we both fell in love with this adorable character and would dearly appreciate seeing more of him. This laid-back bunny provides us with a source of mutual enjoyment, and has a very calming, and positive effect on my grand-daughter. The plots are amusing, and whimsical. Even though the story lines are based on fairly realistic situations and premises, they are nonetheless often unexpected in their approach. To the people responsible for this show, please, keep up the good work.
... View MoreUntalkative bunny is a about an autistic nameless bunny. In the show his family has been killed somehow leaving the little untalkative bunny to fend for himself. His only companions are an Orange Squirrel (who's obviously imaginary) and his TV. The show is good because it promotes awareness through metaphors about various things including autism and silent mute syndrome (he never talks) racism (the humans despise him) and schizophrenia (the orange squirrel) and TV obsession. It shows even though he struggles, he gets by.
