I've watched Two Pints for years and it still cheers me up after a bad day. Yes it's far from perfect (no twenty-something year old living today would say the cultural references that are often heard on the show and the sexual references do occasionally verge on disgusting), but it's not without its charm and the cast do have some good comic timing. It was also a good breakout role for Sheridan Smith, who has since moved on to bigger and better things. I would recommend you only watch series 1-6 as the show's later series (with the exception of some series 7 episodes) were pretty bad.If you're bored and fancy a silly laugh, you can do worse.

Honestly, how can this get an average rating of 7.+? The jokes are tripe. I have written better material and I have bovine spongiform encephalopathy. The banter you hear in pubs is 10 times funnier than this pap. Every episode is the same. Same plot over and over again. "Gaz, will you have sex with me?" , "yeah, but not up the pooper" (Massive laugh from audience)......that's it, honestly, that's it. Poor....... This show gets shown on BBCThree, day in day out. It feels as though it's on 24 hrs a day. You only have to see one show to know how the rest of the series pans out. "gaz, blah, blah, blah." (insert some terrible double entendre reply). Do yourself a favour and actually go to the pub for a couple of pints and a packet of crisps.

i had seen a few of two pints of lager in Spain while on holiday and in my second week to be honest i couldn't wait to get home to buy them, i have got them all now and watch them over and over again i just love the like when Gaz finds out his long lost brother is munch, how great was that. munch to is a good character. its not all about sex. you must watch series 3 with the musical that is so great. and the saddest one was when Johnny gets shot by the police for Louise making changes on his record that to was funny but a little unfair. i cried my eyes out. i have got to buy the last series which is series 6 and i can not wait as I'm so sure it will keep me laughing for hour on end with all the jokes.

I only watched the first 2 episodes (so I can't really comment on the series) because by then I had heard jokes made about a woman taking speed while pregnant, and a joke about domestic abuse. These things can be done with good humour such as in Family Guy where it is 'attacked' rather than 'accepted', but I tend to think there are people who watch this show and actually think those things are funny. The reality is that they are disgusting facets of human behaviour and should not be taken lightly. Some parts of the show were mildly funny, but most of the jokes are just about how disgusting and vile these people are. If you think the show is realistic, then you are probably as disgusting a person as the characters are, in which case you'll probably find it more funny than I did.
