This is quite literally one of the funniest shows I have seen in my life. I have read all of the reviews and I have come to a conclusion, anyone who believes that "Rocky" Gervais isn't funny, but instead would sit down and indulge in a little "Modern Family" is best left silent. The conversations are inane, but that is what makes them hysterical. More over the friendship between the three of these guys is obvious, but this is what makes it fun. Honestly, if you prefer your comedy in the vain of the mass produced kind, by all means this won't be for you, but then it probably wasn't meant to be, was it? Awesomeness 10/10.

Absolutely fantastic.I have never been a massive fan of Ricky (even though i thought the office was alright), but he has grown on me, i do find him and his work funny, i love the Ricky Gervais show. It really did make me laugh out loud.Obviously the best thing about this show is Karl, who doesn't love Karl. He is so funny and what he says never fails to make me laugh, he acts so miserable and just down to earth, says what he thinks even if sometimes it sounds dumb... like "worms have teeth" haha.I couldn't get enough of these shows and i wish there was more of them, after watching them all i wanted to see more and was disappointed to hear that Ricky said he doesn't think there will be more of these in the future.Only thing i would say is bad about the show is that sometimes Ricky will go overboard and it is funny him taking the mick out of Karl but sometimes he goes too far, there is a lot of swearing in the show (i personally don't mind this). It is a fun show to watch and is sure to cheer people up, the animations are funny too, it is a very funny show with a difference, you can actually learn a little from it (not so much by Karl) haha even though sometimes Ricky would say something that was actually wrong (he thought he was right but wasn't). I would recommend people giving this a chance if they don't mind a little bit of swearing etc.I think it deserves a 9 out of 10.

When you watch this show, it is hard to not be in stitches at what Karl says. Ricky's laugh also adds some comedic value to some of what Karl has said. This show includes much dialogue from the earlier podcasts of Gervais, Merchant and Pilkington, but has been given a kind of Hanna Barbera- esque animated backdrop. We are treated to scenes during the conversations to give us an idea of how this would/did happen in real life. It also includes newer dialogue, i.e. An Idiot Abroad is even mentioned in some episodes.Despite the fact that the Show is called "The Ricky Gervais Show", the real star is Karl Pilkington. I assume it was called this because Ricky was more famous than Karl when the podcasts started (if Karl was famous at all at this point). Fans of Ricky's laugh will not be disappointed to hear it in most, if not all, episodes, usually after Karl has given his point of view on something.I would highly recommend that you watch this, along with "An Idiot Abroad", which also stars Karl Pilkington, but with less screen time for Gervais and Merchant.Rating: Please see top of the review.

I've seen a few negative reviews for The Ricky Gervais Show and I find it very sad that these people have such a puckered anus about it that they have to slag off a brilliant show and brilliant cast. The rating for the show is real, 8.5 or something like that; and, it's for a reason. I'm not going to go on tangents of why the show is amazing and all; but, really people, stop downing things that you might not grasp fully because you have not lived your lives and have no idea what is funny to most people. I have things I have not experienced yet and I don't go whining up and down on a review because some half-brain told me it was bad.Come up with your own conclusion. FFS
