The Replacements is a really cheesy and stupid animation show from Disney. This has to be one of the worst Disney shows recently, this show is just beyond awful and its plot is really weak. Its about two kids, Todd and Riley Daring who replace adults with other adults that they find better. That's so stupid. Before i saw this show i thought it would be good but when i started watching it, it was just garbage. The voice acting sucks, Todd's voice sounds so nasty and disgusting, he also acts like such an idiot. Riley acts weird and always stupid around that guy she likes. The parents act so fake and retarded, The father, Dick daring is a joke and a complete idiot. The mom is always lost and is very annoying. This show is just stupid in every way, its not funny in the least bit, don't waste your time watching this garbage.
... View MoreSure it isn't the best cartoon in the world. I did get used to the animation of Disney feature length cartoons. But it isn't what I'm concerned about when it comes to cartoons. This just happens to be its style. Do you remember how bad your jokes were when you were in elementary school? Some of what is done is corny, but this was made for kids, not like the ones I grew up watching - the ones that were shown at the cinema then on TV. I watch this with my son. This is pretty good if we use what we learn from it. So the kids think they can improve on every situation by getting the best adult/replacement they think they need. Yet in most instances another replacement, the original person, or one or both of the parents is needed to help straighten out the mess. A lesson is learned by the kid(s); sometimes, everyone learns a lesson. Moral: sometimes the best person for the job may not be the best for the job or for you.
... View MoreWhat can I say, this cartoon in on early in the morning and sends me straight back to sleep. To a young impressionable child, many cartoons are great down to their bright colours, hyperactivity and high pitch voices, yet unlike many other cartoons, this lacks the substance many present and past cartoons contain. This serise consist of very little storyline, from watching a couple of episodes, I have found that the basis of this story is... Two orphans (little is known of their past are adopted by a bizarre couple - A stunt man dad and secret agent mother. The children are now able to contact an agency in which they can 'replace' anybody in their lives who they are unhappy with (teacher, babysitter, neighbour) with somebody displaying the characteristics of their choise. This series could make for a great parody based show. Parody being the key word, as each episode is different, meaning that a great episode could well be the making of this show, yet so far, this entire cartoon is lackadaisical in structure, animation within background art, enthusiasm, character development and entertainment value. This series could do with many improvements, yet on the plus side, this still has the time to do so, being a Disney serise, it has the boost many other cartoons don't. Their are many great voice actors making this serise too, such as Nancy Cartwright (The Simpsons, Kim Possible, Rugrats) and Grey DeLisle (Avatar, Fairly Odd Parents, Billy and Mandy).
... View Morei hate this show! this show is one of my tie breakers in my "Most Hated Show List." One of the shows is "Yakity Yak" which showed on Nick for so short and "Mucha Lucha." O my gosh those shows were horrible!they make fairly odd parents look good. If they made a movie it would be a waste of money. Currently i sprained my ankle and compared to watching the replacements it was less painful. To me, they should cancel this show, but for now, all parents, block this show! Disney why did you disappoint us so? You know, to all the people i know who watched this show you'd better replace this show. After all this is the name of the show. I don't care if i don't make sense just don't watch it.
