Yes, I grew up watching this (along with All in the family, facts of life, Diff'rent Strokes, The A-Team, etc) I was born in 72 in Marietta, GA and I remember loving this show (yes, I am a male) I would be sitting in front of the T.V. every time this show came on. It was great back then and I could relate to the scenery, Plots, etc. Georgia really looked like that back then, no traffic, not many people and a lot of the main roads were dirt (Canton road, Acworth, 41, etc, were one lane roads and usually dirt) I miss those times and blame technology on busting us people apart... it's too bad they don't have good shows on like this anymore.. If you have not seen this I would suggest you watch some but you have to have the right frame of mind to understand them... :) This was made when America was a great place to live, we were free and did not live under a dictatorship...

This show was a fantastic form of escapism in the Monday night lineup here in Oztrayliah for a few years back in the 1980s. It has to say something about the show that both my husband and I were fans the first time around, and now our three children love it as much as we do, being the first to pull the DVDs out to watch different episodes. There is not another family oriented show like it on TV these days as most either run the family unit down or think they need profanity and lurid behaviour to capture an audience. The Dukes of Hazzard was fantastic for its time and deserves another run on our TV screens as it will capture more fans each time it is aired!

Hey, i must say i have never seen such a great t.v.series as the dukes. I must agree they are very sexy guys, those duke cousins. It's a shame that they aren't as young as they were then. I would go crazy over Bo duke (john Schneider). But then Luke duke (tom) isn't that bad looking either. :) I hope i find someone weather it's now or later thats like Bo. It would be so nice to meet them in person, and give them a big hug. I give dukes of hazzard 300% the best thats ever been. I also just realized that it's sad when i read about Jessie and boss hog's death. But then i guess no one lives forever and i'm sorry to hear about the bad news to everyone. The fans and the crew that worked with them. But anyways i'm just happy i got to say what i really wanted to say about the dukes and hopefully, wishing that those man out there do check these out once in a while to read it. Take care. From Chantal Lauzon Winnipeg, MB Canada

i thought (not to offend anybody) but i need to say this.i personally thought that the movie sucked. the only character they even got close to was uncle Jesse and they also made the movie to sexual and it had a person casting that obviously didn't know what they were doing there is no one in Hollywood that could possibly play the parts of BO,Luke, daisy, boss hog,Rosco,Enos or Cletus.i mean, come on they couldn't even get flash,(the dog)right.your a very bad caster if you cant get the freakindog right.and what ever happened to the quality of good old country fun?the car chases, the somewhat TV violence,i mean nobody really got hurt maybe just a good scuff or two i mean its not like the duke boys ever killed any body the most blood i have ever seen on that show was couple of bloody noses that the duke boys gave to each other on the episode "Carnival Of Thrills" were they get into a fight over some girl.
