This show is just awful. The lead character is in no way written to be a comedy performance... think of the word "pathetic" personality instead. The female lead, well I'm sorry but this just has to be said, Helen of Troy launched a thousand ships... Lilyhot of Troy would sink a million d*icks. I'm afraid alien female Lilyhot is just totally LilyNOT. I actually began putting my hands over my eyes during her scenes and just cannot conceive of any male lead falling for her.So.... the show has no visual appeal, the comedy is pathetic -- not funny and the story line is a flop rendition of a now worn out concept rip-off. Don't waste your hour, this is a zero rate show and the worst British production I have yet to ever see.

Great entertaining show. About 50/50 on predicting what comes next usually. Characters are good. Actors for the most part are alright. Decent idea, this is where the budget I think comes into play but also limits the entire story if there were any CG components to the aliens. Essentially aliens are segregated from the populous by a wall. They sell their Hair as drugs for the Humans yet power ball dish-washing tablets are their drug.Will be good to see if this show continues on as I think it has a lot of potential for growth and complexity. Particularly with certain groups that wish to "set things right" for Troy (the aliens sectioned off area). Is there a reason they called it Troy? Does that indicate a possible plot in the future?

stupid plot... Aliens come to earth, they're segregated from us and kept in Zones... strong chance they can mate with humans and have little hybrid babies ...oh yes... there's a black market trade selling their hair ...which is a highly addictive and trendy drug that humans smoke....The scene that just threw me off was when they're shaving this one chap so they can get his hair and sell it, but the chap is bald... think about it...really did not get my attention. don't know if I can sit through a whole season of watching people smoke pubes... There's much better on the telly

I looked at it with an open mind, which i usually do with whatever i review or watch. I thought that this was going to be a good TV show, since it is British, but I'm kind of disappointed.Pro: -OK acting. - OK actors. -story is OK-ish.Cons: -taking modern day problems like the EU migrant crisis and putting a political motivated twist on it. Granted it would not be such a problem but it is put on so thickly it is moronic to the 1000th degree. -at times really weird script and awkward moments. Even the actors feel that something is off, and that says a lot. Granted the script gets a tad bit better but not by much as the series progresses. - there are other bigger and minor problems in both acting and script but going into detail here can spoil it for the potential viewer who wants to try it out.Overall conclusion: All in all it is rather bland. Nothing special. the actors will be better if they had a bit more experience but if you have a really awful script to work with, even an AAA+ actor can't make it good. So for the actors i would give them a 5+/10 because of their age and the fact they got a really badly written script to work with.On a closing note I will address this "eu migrant" comparison. The migrant crisis is immensely complex. A small percentage are actual "refugees" ( women and actual children fleeing their country) but most of them are economical migrants ( or welfare migrants, because they will get free money from the nation state they reside in)Now about sending people back: every country in the world does that. If a Eu citizen wants to go and work in the US and is stopped at border control because of no legal papers to work in the US,he will be returning to the EU on the next available flight ( this comparison is valid because all these "migrants" do not have the necessary work visas either) I#m not for or against the migrants ; i am stating facts and you all should do some better research when complaining about things ( like the EU migrant crisis and how "unfair it is while the US is doing the same practices.. a bit hypocritical don't you think..)
