There is precious little action so it falls to the dialog/actors to make it interesting. But they don't :-). Although SciFi standards are pretty low... But this is not really SciFi, it's a political conspiracy story, and standards for those are pretty high.

First of all it has turned into another political tv series. What happened to sci-fi ??!! We were watching it with love because it was about planets and science. Secondly, scenario is full of s**t! just when Grace starts taking Chief Justice into camera, Darius and the whole White House is worried about Grace, her phone rings , and she stops the shooting. Come on , answering the phone is more important ??!! and White House is just worried about Grace and not about Chief Justice, what's wrong with you ???!! Is Grace the queen of England ? Sorry but so stupid. So many small stupid details like this in the scenario... season 2 fails deeply!! Thirdly what is that kill switch !!

View MoreWhat started out as a pretty good series with some good episodes and good story lines is quickly turning into yet another US government spay scandal with plots to overthrow the government by mean nasty villains - beginning to be just like designated survivor where the story line tumbles from one disaster to another. Can someone please come up with a good series like Breaking Bad, Justified and The Wire or have the writers exhausted their ideas
... View MoreAlthough it seems like a great storyline to follow, just how far could this storyline go? As time passes (and the threat drawls closer), we could see the true nature of what humanity is, and what we do in the final days and hours of our existence. Do we go insane with overwhelming fear, turn to religion and except our fate, or do we come together as one united human race, and look pass the expense and profit of saving the world, as we find the way to either stop the threat, or find the means to continue on...out there in the vast void of space. The show's title, to me, doesn't seem to connect to the threat being presented, where as "DEEP IMPACT" does. The show could have followed the same storyline as the 1998 film and be a bit more detailed on how a mission could work, both on the deflection of the asteroid, or on the relocation of those who could be saved from the near destruction of the earth. We can only see just how far this story will go...after all, look how far the show CONTAINMENT lasted.
