Terrible acting , boring and a long haul in something that probably could've been done in an hour. None of the characters were very likeable, it took me a long time to finish as I either got bored mid episode or fell asleep.

Things start start off with a seemingly unprovoked random murder of a local doctor while she's with her son on a playground with dozens of witnesses. Seems open and closed case, until it isn't. Lots of twists and intrigue as well as despicable characters to balance out the likable, more predictable police personalities. Definitely worth a binge watch!

This detective genre is one of my favorites and I have loved shows such as Luther, The Fall, Broadchurch, Wallander and many more. However, this show was terrible in so many ways. The storyline was weak and the casting was awful. Yes we got the locations and the photography was great. What was bad about this show was the cast lead by Indira Varma and Polly Walker acted like she was in a pantomime. Overall the acting was amateurish and I hope they are not going to make any more! Thank goodness they are making another series of Luther to make up for this load of trash!

I enjoyed this a lot despite some odd flaws. It has to many personal problems going on on the side of the investigation at the core. Some of the dialogue is pretty clunky. Right at the start the detectives get an anonymous tip from someone they give the really stupid name "The Ghost Detective." But the mystery jogs along at a decent pace and there are some good performances. Most notably from Christiane Paul as a Dusseldorf detective who leads the German side of the investigation. She is sharp, sassy, sexy and has a haircut which looks as if it cost a million euros. Well worth giving it a try
