I watched this show when it first aired on Sky One..It was a show about two cops who go undercover and stop the bad guys...I caught a few episodes and was mesmerised simply because..well, I was young and gullible...I recently watched the first twenty minutes and I have to say, this is absolutely awful. The writing is bad..I mean how many shows have we seen with the death of a fellow partner...or the terrible dialogue....The cinematography is far too bright...the costumes are absolutely ridiculous..the senior police bosses dress more like Pimps and the acting...well, let's just say it's not displayed very well...I guess the producers tried to catch onto the 'Miami Vice' vibe..but even 'Miami Vice' grew up with the changing times...

Fast lane had some of the most accurate and realistic car scenes and chases ever. That's not hard to say because most TV shows and movies are plagued with Idiots who don't know anything about cars and assume the general public is clueless as well. This show was different and is well thought of by gear heads everywhere. Had it been aired on better nights and times it would still be on the air today. The actors were top notch. here it is 2005 and I can't go to any car associated functions with out the mention of this show. This show also tied many different types of people together. The partiers , The gamblers , The racers and the police. All these people were glued to the TV. It's really too bad someone goofed and let it die. Oh yeah that was the TV and Movie Idiot that plagued the rest of the car movies made. They must have been jealous

Anyone who has seen even one episode of Fastlane will fall in love with it. This show had everything that made it hit. The cars, the clothes, the girls and a lot of action. An incredible cast of Bill, Tiffani and Peter made was an incredible combination. This show was funny, thrilling and had twist and turns that always had you coming back the next week to see what else would happen. This is the first show that had me calling people during commercials to talk about what happened. To describe this show simply, I would say that it is a cross of Miami Vice and Fast and the Furious.I know a lot of people signed petitions to keep this on the air. If anything, I hope they put it on DVD.

Just wanted the say that the show has just begun over here in Europe and I really love it !Peter F is really cute as Van Ray ! The other actors and characters are also great.The stories make me a little think about my favorite TV show 21 Jump Street so that's great !I'm sad to read there's only 22 episodes ! Even if we only saw 6 episodes till now I really enjoy that show every Friday night !Can't wait to be on next Friday to have a new episode !GREAT !!!
