This show was BRILLIANT when it first started. I loved all the characters and the storyline was fresh with a modern take on the fairytales and Disney stories we all know, love and grew up with. It was gripping, funny and entertaining with good writing and interesting character development. However, as we head into season 6, it's like the writers lost interest completely. There were random characters no one really cared about, very little original storytelling and boring plot points with absolutely no character development. It was so bad, that the majority of the original cast left at the end of the season, presumably because even they couldn't face another season of repetitive non-storytelling, despite receiving what I'm sure was a hefty pay check. I decided to watch season 7, as I knew it was the last and therefore, having watched the first 6 seasons, felt compelled to do so, finding out how the story ends. What a disappointment. Season 7 of this show is one the most boring seasons of any show ever (and I watched Dexter past season 4...). There's none of our beloved characters, and the few that did remain for season 7, have been given boring "human" identities that I could care less about. What's even more disappointing is there is no appearance of Rumple, only Gold in whichever human variation he is in this current "world." The "grown up" Henry storyline is ridiculous, as is him having a small daughter. Considering this is a show based on magic and fairytales, the fact that it's no longer believeable to watch says a lot! This show seems to be going nowhere fast, almost as if the writers don't care anymore and are simply fulfilling a contract. I stopped watching at Season 7, Episode 3, and only started watching again recently, having read that Snow and Prince Charming will be making an appearance in the finale. Very tempted to just skip through on Netflix to the final episode, as I'm not sure I can face another 18 episodes between the current episode and the finale.

First of all, the pilot of this show is wonderful. In fact, the entire first season of OUAT is amazing. I'd say up until the end of Season 4, there's nothing I can truly belittle OUAT for. But Season 5 was a harsh turning point in the show for me, for various reasons. The first half of the season was alright, but the second half just meddled with the show's physics and professionalism a little bit. They made some decisions which were in short, questionable, and its unsurprising that they continued making similar choices in the next few seasons. The Season 7 reboot was especially questionable, and whilst I wasn't completely opposed to the idea of some characters returning, I feel like there are many more logical ways they could have handled it. Although, despite it's flaws, I love this show and I think anyone interested in fantasy shows will agree that it's definitely worth watching

I enjoyed all of the seasons, although it did drag at times (maybe it was just because I binged watched it). At the end of season 6, I realized how light skin the permanent cast is, I hoped for more diversity. Needless to say, I both appreciated and loved the diversity of the season 7 cast. I'm going to miss OUAT. </3

I absolutely Love, Love, Love this show! While yes I agree that they could have cast a younger Cinderella, I think the actress did a wonderful job. I feel like they could at least do one more season, all though I haven't seen the season finale, just like with the original, they can run with this theme for a few more seasons. I give this storyline a 9/10. I can't be the only person who doesn't want this show to end. @kspitsen
