Iron Fist is a good series but every time the script introduces claire character, both the hero's standards and storytelling are devastated because of the stupid approach the character has in the story. The developers use this character to avoid heroes destroy the enemies so to preserve the villain for future utilization... so to make the story so stupid that the viewer considers the narrated vicissitudes mediocre, furthermore, the actress is damaged by the stupid image the character assumes in the story. I hope she is an infiltrated villain because otherwise they have compromised Luke Cage and Iron fist series for nothing.

Iron Fist doesn't even hold up to the weakest episodes of Daredevil; it's not that the show is through and through awful, it's just that it's a been-there-done-that superhero story we've seen done better and bolder in Arrow and Batman Begins and even the other Marvel Netflix shows. We've seen better kung-fu wisdom in The Matrix, Enter the Dragon and so on. Iron Fist is a consolidation of action movie cliches and tropes all cobbled together in an underwhelming show that is WAY too repetitive in just the first three episodes alone.Though the pacing does get somewhat better later on, Iron Fist doesn't overcome its problems and instead it's hampered by them in ways that none of the other Netflix Marvel shows succumbed to. The villain's bland, Finn Jones can't escape his Game of Thrones shadow most of the time he's on screen (he's not a leading man), and the supporting stories are too damn weak for a 13-episode story-arc.2/5 stars. This is the weakest thing Marvel's produced; that I've seen. I'm reluctant to see Inhumans because... you know: apparently that sucked too.

Let me preface this by saying that Iron Fist has been my favorite superhero for many years. I've read every single comic of his that I could get my hands on, I bought videogames just because he was playable in them, I even scour yardsales every week to get my hands on older printings of his comics. So needless to say, I was extremely excited when I heard he was getting a Netflix series. When I first saw the bad reviews, I was in denial. I didn't think there was any way they could mess up a superhero like Iron Fist so bad that he would only receive 17% percent on Rotten Tomatoes, but after watching it... I don't even know where to begin with this show. Never have I seen writers fail to understand a character so bad. Danny went from being a calm and collected dude who manages to successfully run a company and fight crime, to an aggressive, impulse moron who breaks into people's houses, steals people's cars (and nearly kills them in the process) and fails to run his business at all. He acts painfully stupid, naive, and even intentionally cruel at times. He's supposed to be one of the world's greatest martial artists, second only to Shang-Chi, and able to go toe-to-toe with Iron Man or the X-Men, but in this show he struggles to defeat a random street punk without being injured. He (and half of the other characters) are painfully boring, to the point where I struggled to sit through most episodes. Also, the main villian's "master plan" makes no sense. This show does have two saving graces: Colleen Wing legitimately has an amazing storyline, and it's very interesting to watch her fight against becoming what she hates. Harold Meachum also has a pretty gripping storyline, although not as good as Colleen's. Unfortunately, both of these stories are surrounded by hours of the other uninteresting characters doing stupid stuff, leaving the show mostly unwatchable. If you're considering watching this show, do yourself a favor and just read the comics instead.

This TV show was great, cannot wait for 2nd season after Defenders. I am glad I have not read this reviews vefore watch the show, as most of them I do not agree. Give this tv show a try, whatever people can find as wring don't forget it's from Marvel's Comic Iron fist, they do not solve the race of a character coz people want a different color. Be acceptable don't just judge and find problem in everything...
