This show is excellent. I watched all episodes in 1 sitting and they are so funny. Jim uses some of his funny stories in his stand-up and he acts them out. Great show overall and can't wait for season 2. Why did I rate it 10/10? My simple answer would be, I think this show is the best so far, better than the office in my opinion. And that show I would have rated 10/10. It made laugh all the time too.Which one was my favourite episode? Season 1 - Episode 6. I'm sure this show has many seasons to go because it is hilarious. I didn't put any details so that there is no spoiler alerts, although I put some pressure on the episode expectations :)
... View MoreThis is not worth your time. I can't even imagine why this is classified as comedy. The actors are horrible, aside from DJ Quells who does OK like always. But the script is what makes this series even more difficult to like. Combined together, the bad acting and the poorly delivered lines only makes you wonder how these people can really get paid for doing this. I'm really just filling up lines here, because IMDb requires 10 lines for a review. I don't think I've written many reviews, only when the show/movie is really bad, or really good. This one is about a really bad show to which I wished was better reviewed to have avoided wasting my time on the first 2 episodes.Do yourself a favour, and skip this show, it won't be on TV for long anyway.
... View MoreJim Jefferies is hilarious, he's crude and a @#$hole but you have to love him, and he reminds us a bit of ourselves at the same time. Also he's just funny, unlike certain actors in comedy's. i was waiting for another stand up DVD but found this. A lot of his jokes from his stand ups are little scenarios so his comedy adapts well to TV. He's more in your face than Louie C.K. like an Australian Kenny Powers. I can't wait to see a certain number of jokes played out in his show as well. I can see fans of Eastbound and down, Wilfred, Workaholics and south park enjoying this. Also fans of Curb and Louie will like it. The first show you can tell it was a bit off mark but I can definitely see it getting more polished. Please make heaps of season's FX!
... View MorePilot episode review: I have been a fan of Jim Jefferies for many years. His stand-up comedy is mix of crudeness, vulgarity and pure brilliance. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, then there is no point even bothering to check out this series. "Legit" is a show similar to Louis C.K's "Louie", but it's not quite the same since Louie episodes are made up with different sketches. Jim Jefferies plays himself and the story of the pilot is taken from one of his older stand-up routines where he helps his friend's disabled and dying brother get laid at a whorehouse. The dialogue and situations that occur are both funny and well acted, and it is quite moving in it's own strange way. If the rest of the episodes keep up the same quality I think it will be a hit series for us who enjoy dark comedy.
