Out of 100 episodes, I probably enjoyed about 25 watching the series now that I'm older. The reason I'm rewatching the series is because my brother is now watching it, and I see now that the humor was just so juvenile. In contrast, a lot of the humor is inappropriate sexual innuendo to appeal to parents. The stereotypes are horrible, with the smart Indian kid, sassy black girl, dumb blonde girl, gross white boy, and the two adults who get no respect. Also, Jessie's dialogue is so cringey. They seem to put a laugh track every time one of the kids highlights one of the flaws in the adults (like how Jessie is lonely). They make some shitty joke about a serious topic and slap a laugh track. Example:Kid: You're lonely and a loser and you can't get a boyfriendLAUGH TRACKJessie: I'm gonna go cry nowLAUGH TRACK

I have a six-year old who is just starting to watch this sort of thing, and it represents the very worst that TV has to offer:o Laugh tracko Predictable. Set up/punch line. Set up/punch line. You know how every joke ends before they're half-way into it.o A multi-racial cast apparently drafted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I'm all in favor of a diverse cast, but this represents the worst of the worst -- a boy from India who makes jokes about curry and karma; an adorable African-American girl who is "sassy",and, worst of all, a young boy who is age-inappropriately horny for the teen-age Jessie... Don't get me wrong -- there are plenty of shows out there for kids that are great - - Odd Squad, Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street...Fer gawds sake, whatever happened to the eminently smart and witty original Rocky and Bullwinkle, or the Warner Brothers cartoons from the '50s? Violent, rude, intelligent, and hilarious I can only hope that someday Bugs Bunny will show up and kick Jessie's ass.Ugh.The only good thing I can say about Jessie is that I used to think that Liv and Maddie was the worst show ever... I didn't know how good I had it.

All the shows and movies that are created today get no credit. If it doesn't have drugs sex and rock in roll in it then your not interested. If you simply don't like it then its automatically bad for you and for everyone else. Well i don't want anyone speaking for me. When it comes down to not like the characters for the way they are in the movies and TV shows everyone gets them confused with the actual actor. Im sorry don't remember them all having the ability to become more than one person at a time. Only through their acting is this done. I do believe that they are all laughing all the way to the bank whether or not you like them or not. Since when did we all become producers of movies and TV. This constant basting the characters and the shows is the reason they don't last as long as they should. One one gives anything a good try anymore. You don't finish watching or watch movie just cause your curious. A lot of people don't finish watching a TV series because they it doesn't meet your standards of how people or children should act. YOU CANT PLEASE EVERYONE. EVERYONE KEEPS IT UP ALL WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ARE REALILTY SHOWS THAT NOW ONE WANTS TO WATCH. THE ONLY THING WE WILL BE ABLE TO DO IS WATCH OLD MOVIES AND SHOWS AND WONDER WHY THEY Don't MAKE THEM ANYMORE.

"JESSIE," in my opinion, is an excellent Disney Channel show. I watch it with my 9-year-old nephew from time to time. I always smile and laugh whenever a mishap occurs. It's hard to say what the funniest one is. Another thing that makes this show funny is Trish's (Rani Rodriguez) comic relief. If you ask me, she always know just what to say and do to make the audience laugh. The writing is always strong, the performances are always good, and everything else about the show is good.Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that if you don't have basic cable, you should get it. Now, in conclusion, I hope this will be on Disney for many years yet.
