Usual network morons... they ALWAYS cancel anything worth watching. If it's anything more complicated than 'See Spot run.', they don't like it... it doesn't have enough ratings *wail wail* *sook sook*! Well, duh... that might be because the network execs were too dilly to get it, and therefor never marketed it to the right audience in time. Do ya think?!?Probably because they all sit around in the board rooms saying, ' Hey, I know! let's get the Poindexters in to make something smart that we can write off for tax!' And then they go back to watching the Kardashians, or Big Brother. At least that's what it always looks like... and thus they chop off the series that are going to make them real money in the long run. They show it at stupid times, or in competition with something that the brain-dead will watch in force.BTW... this series is great! What there is of it.
... View MoreFor nine episodes, this show built momentum towards some sort of conclusion. Then came episode ten. I'm not sure if this was a supposed to be a ten episode mini series or what, but the last episode seemed to be cobbled together real quickly with little sense of coherency. The big reveal was that the red headed girl was trying to avenge her nutty father, an archaeologist marginalized years before by the archaeologist with whom the red headed is sleeping. The only interesting character, the Israeli cop, was killed in the previous episode by the red headed girl. Awful ending. The whole conspiracy thing thing just fizzled out, as if the writers got bored with their jobs. I hope this series gets canceled for being stupid.
... View MoreI loved the final episode! It had me at the edge of my seat the entire hour! I glad the villains got caught and punished. I'm glad Avram saved Red and know she can be free the rest of her life. I'm sorry he's left the Yishuv, but I don't think he's lost his faith completely; maybe just in the people who he lived with for so long because of their acceptance of the false prophets (the Rabbi and Joshua). Also glad that Peter with his Essence friend survived and so did Lynne. My only gripe was they didn't explain what Ambassador Ridell's involvement in the whole thing was. Other than that, I have no complaints and I'm looking forward to DIG coming out on DVD.
... View MoreI honestly enjoyed this series. Why? It was more geared towards those who enjoy this type of creative historical and religious drama. Previously, I had often wondered if they would EVER create a more thought-provoking show that had a religious component. This is not because I am so overly religious, but its authentic feel makes the Armageddon concept more appealing (story-wise).I have read many comments from others who quip about the slow pace, but I didn't mind it. Why? Not everything in life is an action movie - and I actually LOVE action movies. If you are expecting high paced madness ALL OF THE TIME, then maybe you should steer clear of this show. Much like Mysteries of the Bible, I liked this premise. Authentic location (story-line) and casting - kudos! It was a different kind of show and I liked it. I hope that it returns because I will watch it. WRITERS, STUDIOS: PLEASE DON'T SCREW IT UP IF YOU EXTEND IT! IT WORKS!!
