I think the show missed a trick by not focussing on the initial aftermath of the attack for the whole season one .. it must have been no pc to show would would happen to the USA if the government was destroyed ... civil war ?? national guard killing many ?? this would probably be too shocking to us audiences to see how close to anarchy we really are .. but the preppers would love it re michael j fox .. great to see him acting but everybody in the show seems to be trying to get his services just seems ridiculous to me this show missed its opportunity to be genuinely different on a great premise ..
... View MoreWhen I saw this in Target I was intrigued because Kiefer Sutherland was in. I thought it would be like 24 but this show is so Hokie and dumb that it makes me want to puke. It is pure globalist propaganda. They spent so many episodes talking about gun control it was cringe-worthy. This idea that we need to give up our guns as some patriotic Duty it's the exact opposite. The writers of this show are obviously card-carrying communists. It sucks!
... View MoreI started watching this (real time) with my housemates, and I'm the only one who hung in there. The show had so much potential, but got off to a rocky start. I almost bailed on it myself, but an episode in the middle of Season One started the rehab process. Since then, it got better with every episode. The character development was much more realistic, dialog more believable, Jack Bauer started acting like Jack Bauer, and the crises were credible. There's been some chatter about Netflix picking this up, and I really hope there's truth to that. I used to whine about Code Black and this show being on at the same time. Oy, I didn't know what real trouble is!
... View MoreI really wanted this series to be good. Due to the plot and part of the casting - big opportunity there... But unfortunately, it's not that good. This series puts together two types of movies - political drama (sic!) and spy action movies. However, both seem somewhat unconvincing. The political drama seems overly simplified and sugar coated. The spy- action part - utterly unconvincing (come on, same agent happens to be in all the important places, lots of professional goofs and so on). Stereotypes all over the movie. And even Sutherland seems not to be convinced by the script, given his acting. It is still entertaining - but if you want more, better watch (depending on taste ;)) The West Wing (highly recommended from my point of view -disregard political choice, just watch the action) or House of Cards (a bit over the edge), and for spy action, Strike Back, Berlin Station and many other surclass this series.
