Just finished 3x8, it was riddled with Nazi bad guys, with their slogans of "Make America Aryan Again", using Antifa (Far Left Hate Group) slogan of "Punch a Nazi" over and over and over.. (a dog whistle for attacking conservatives). Tired of politics and anti-conservative messages, and outright calls for violence against them. Additionally, earlier the "Nazi' version of super girl explains that they are more powerful because of Meritocracy.. because .. you know, capitalism is evil and should be associated to Nazi's. I'm done with this show and the CW Television Network.

What's happening? How does this at all fit in anywhere else? Who's writing this stuff? Who sits in a room full of other people pitches this and then agrees to push it thru? Do these actors have any shame? When they get the script do they read it and say "ha this looks great! I can't wait to say that!" So many questions. So many random, unnecessary tangents. Please cancel.

Legends of Tomorrow took a huge step up in quality with its second season so I was excited for this season, and even though the series is still fun season 3 was a small step down in quality. The premise of the season sees the Legends have to track down six totems of power to stop a time demon. Caity Lotz plays the lead on this show and she does a really good job this season, she goes through a good emotional arc throughout the season that allowed her character some closure and added depth. Dominic Purcell plays Mick Rory and he is easily the biggest highlight of this season when it comes to the heroes, his dark humour and gruff characteristics make him the best character on this show to watch by far. As the season progressed the characters of Zari and Amaya were given more time to shine and became crucial to the story. Special props should be given to Neal McDonough as he reprises his role as Damien Darkh and provides a more humour filled but character driven performance that makes him the best villain on this show. Though I felt this season that the characters of Nate and Ray felt over the top and just really not needed as they just infuriated me when they were on the screen. The main season of the villain is Mallus and he was just a cliché demon with a boring motivation that makes him a dull adversary. The story has some really good character moments and does a good job of building the comradery amongst the teams especially with how the team developed over the season. Though the show felt full of repetition as it didn't feel particularly interesting going after these totems that weren't really given enough depth to make you question or understand the depth of them. The script was good, the humour just about passes as it made me laugh but it does come across as cheesy quite a bit. There was also a few dramatic scenes that worked very well but we need more next season. The style provides fun different environments every week which works very well and also the action scenes feel unique and work. Though this season ramps up the cheese from the first season which I was disappointed to see. Also the finale doesn't deliver as much as it really should have done. Overall this was a good season of this show but I hope they improve on certain elements for next season.
