Considered to be one of the most underrated television comedies but with a huge dedicated fan base. Following the life of Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) a discontinued lawyer because of his phoney law degree must go back to community college. Greendale Community College is a perfect safe haven for quirky misfits and plays through funny and relatable characters such as Buzzkill Britta Perry (Gillian Jacobs), Pop cultured film and television enthusiast/guru Abed Nadir (Danny Pudi), Loving religious housewife Shirley Bennett (Yvette Nicole Brown), High strung but intelligent and beautiful Annie Edison (Alison Brie), Adorkable charismatic Troy Barnes (Donald Glover) and Wealthy racist elder of the study group Pierce Hawthorne (Chevy Chase). Including show stealing side characters such as Dedicated and Hysterical Dean Pelton, Mad Pyscho Ben Chang and Physiological but endearing Professor Ian Ducan. Throughout the series it starts to decline in quality from season 4 onwards but still up holds fantastic comedic storytelling and Meta humour to always keep it fresh and fun. Definitely a work of pure genius from creator Dan Harmon. Overall Hilarious. Highly recommended
... View MoreJust started watching and I'm entering season 4. I wasn't sure at first, but I love it and I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Characters are refreshing and the acting is spot on.
... View MoreI am really glad i found this show after it was canceled, because i didn't want to stop watching it on hulu.At first I was like eh...but it got pretty good quick. The characters progressed nicely. I really liked troy and abed's friendship and their wacky adventures. They also have some excellent episodes, like the 2 part paint ball, the Law and order spin off just to name a few. I really hope they do the movie. If you going to try binging this, i would recommend giving it a few episodes think it gets pretty darn good.
... View MoreThis series had me gripped and in stitches the whole time I was watching it. This was one series that I was actually upset that ended genuinely. This has been an all time favourite of mine. I actually watched the series again and again. The writers and actors must have had total freedom on set and studio as it looks so natural. As Tommy Wiseau said as a director: 'As a director, I have to feel realism from actors, and they can't be plastic' If the director sees realism from the actors then as an audience we will also see realism and believe that it is real, and that's just what Community does. I'm not surprised that it won a Primetime Emmy award as well as 16 other awards and had 66 nominations. It is an exceptional TV shows, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who says that there should've been more seasons made as well as possible reunion shows.
