Paul and Barry chuckle never fail to make me laugh. they have done ever since I was a small child. their comedy does stretch across all age gaps, and now my children are receiving the same pleasure I had from watching these classic comedic gods. aside from their slapstick comedy which can at times feel a little tired, you can rest assured that these guys come across as decent and kind people. they shine a light on good morals and give a wonderful demonstration on how to deal with the stress of life with a big smile and a can do attitude. to say I love these guys would be an understatement. these are national treasures, Slightly overlooked by the mainstream. but easily on the podium with our other greats. although possibly in their own category
... View MoreI'm amazed that there aren't more reviews/ higher ratings for this fantastic show that has entertained generations of children for now over 20 years. The shows humour is timeless and The Chuckle Brothers deserve much more recognition for continuing to entertain after all these years and keeping the standard of this show so high.Although the plots are always quite similar at the centre of the show is the relationship of the two brothers who I think are like a modern day Laurel and Hardy. They get into various scrapes but the heart between the two is always the key element. There's no bad language or violence, just good funny lines and some slapstick which children and parents can enjoy together. This is a timeless show that hopefully will continue for many years to come.
... View MoreChucklevision has got to be easily the best children's programme showing on CBBC, with comedy suitable for both adults and children alike, often me and my kids laugh out loud at their various antics. Unfortunately recently they have only been producing 6 15 minute-ish episodes as compared to their 15 of previous seasons. Although their newer episodes are still funny, and better than allot of other children's programmes, i think the older episodes (only seen as far back as season 7) are their best work - i know what you were thinking, how could they be any funnier! To conclude, if you've never seen them before, watch an episode or two, you'll be surprised by how funny they actually are, i know i was
... View MoreCBBC has shown some rubbish e.g. Tracy Beaker, my kids seem to find entertainment in that depressed program. But then they showed chucklevision, it actually made me laugh! It reminds me so much of the 1920's Laurel and Hardy, the way they play off of each other is just funny. You say this program only suits the younger kids, nonsense this is CBBC at its best. Paul and Barry are TV legends that have kept going through out the years.Laurel and Hardy maybe gone but least we have the chuckle brothers to keep us entertained in the same classic fashion. In conclusion I hope chucklevison will continue for many years to come. Paul and Barry i solute you!
