This is my second time writing this review because for some odd reason IMDB took down my last review. This might not be as good as my last but I will try to make it useful as possible. In my opinion Ben 10 Omniverse is the best show the franchise had to offer. The only reason why a lot of people don't like this show is because art style, theme song or the fact that Ben is not serious. However the theme can be very annoying but the actual episodes are gold. Plus he has access to all of his aliens and it definitely deserves a higher rating then just 5.9/10.Okay I have to admit breaking up with Julie and bringing back Kai wasn't the best move the show had to offer but other then that it is worth the watch if you are a true fan of Ben 10 like I am.Look I have watched the Original Show, Alien Force and Ultimate Alien and I personally think Ultimate Alien wasn't the best show in the franchise. Since it made a lot of changes to what Ben 10 should have been and just wasn't anything special but I shall discuss Ultimate Alien some other time on another review but its no where near as bad as the reboot. The best episodes of the series are definitely And Then There Were None/Ben, the showdown arc, the rooters arc and A new dawn. Those episodes would blow your minds. On top of that if you watch the episodes really closely you would notice there is a lot of references and easter eggs to upcoming events, pop culture and generally other show. Which I really like about this show. Omniverse also brought back stuff from the Original series and Alien Force which Ultimate Alien got rid of. At least I know Ben doesn't need to go Ultimate to win a fight or isn't a lousy shot at shooting and Ben doesn't go cold hearted when Kevin mutated again. However Omniverse did also mess up the continuity by air episodes of events which would have happened before that actually episode (if you get what I mean). Again don't get me wrong the art style is good and the voice actors all did a marvelous job at voicing there characters at least they never overcasted Dee Bradley Baker as every alien like they did in the previous two shows. But I wish they kept his as Humangasour, Armodrillo, Chromastone and Eatle because he was more better as those characters then John Dimaggo or Eric Bauza. In the final two seasons we have Mark Hamil himself join the franchise as the main villain which was very fun. Plus no matter how much you would hate Omniverse there would always be worst out there (Ben 10 2016 and Teen Titans Go!) and after all it is the very last show on Cartoon Network to be a 22 minute action show. before Christina Miller came along and ruined the network. At least Omniverse actually has that good balance between action and comedy unlike todays shows on Cartoon Network which are just mostly comedies and literally no action shows plus it was a good way to get younger audiences interested in the Ben 10 Franchise which I think Ultimate Alien was lacking especially when it came to some of its writing. As I have meantined on my review for Ben 10 Alien Force don't listen to the haters of the show you never know you might actually like it. Overall if you are a true fan of Ben 10 and you were not that happy with the changes in UA or because of the reboot abomination I would recomand you watch Omniverse to complete the whole franchise. I am not sure about the USA but in the UK the series is available on ITunes and other sites like Hulu I think it should be the same for the USA. Just one more thing to add on. josephboot-188-316279 Ben 10 Omniverse and Teen Titans Go! are not created by the same people. Next time you do a review on here do research before putting anything erlevent down and Ben 10 Omniverse is not like Teen Titans Go, its nothing like Teen Titans Go!.

When Alien Force came out, it did not feel like a sequel to the original at all. It was so different, they retconned so many things and changed Ben, Gwen and Kevin's characters so much. With Omniverse, the creators knew exactly what they were doing. The new art style and designs by Derrick J. Wyatt are so refreshing and great. Aliens now have clothing again, a lot of the original aliens are being used and the humor and feel from the original series is back. There are no more constant unnecessary retcons and no more bad writing (Gwen and Kevin). Lots of characters from the original series return and one of them is Lucy. Her return was done so well and it's great to see so many elements from the original return. Ultimates are gone and it's back to just normal aliens which is much better. Ultimate Aliens made no sense at all and felt like they put no effort into them at all. This series has fixed a lot of the problems Alien Force and Ultimate Alien introduced. The episodes where Ben visits different dimensions are seriously good and one of the best things in the show. The flashback episodes are really good as well and help explain the story. Malware was done really well and is one of my favorite villains in the show. The creators have put a lot of effort into this show and do care about making it as good as it can get. In short, this is the series that we should have gotten in 2008. Highly recommend you to watch this series.

I'm so fed up with all the negative reviews I've seen Omniverse getting that I just had to write my own for it. For me, Ben 10: Omniverse saved what Ultimate Alien destroyed. I found the story to be lacking and actually dropped the show during that season because it just didn't hold any interest. I also have to admit that since the new art style of Omniverse didn't appeal to my eye, I completely ignored it for the first two seasons. However, I lately found myself missing the feeling of Ben 10 and tried to re-watch it through starting with the first season but sadly, not many of those episodes could hold a second watch and still be interesting; amidst my watching of the original series, I stumbled upon some later episode of Omniverse and fell in love in those 20 minutes. The light feeling and the chemistry between the new duo was much better than I'd assumed and even though the art and animation were still sore to my eyes, I got past them because the experience itself was pleasant. I admit that the art and animation of the earlier seasons is much more to my taste and even though I hate the new look they gave Gwen, I think this show is exactly what the franchise needed. I agree that it might have had the feeling of milking it away during Ultimate Alien, which to me had no point what so ever but now I feel like I'm back to getting the same feeling as I did when I first started watching the show Ben 10.Although the flashback stories and the 11-year-old Ben in this series could be better written and more loyal to the original series and are probably the worst part of it, I would give it a change. They keep putting more and more focus on the present time and keeping the flashbacks as a minimum "refreshments". You will always see a lot of people putting it down, but to me it has been the only series of the franchise that's been able to last interesting past the first watch. I actually watched the both seasons twice in three weeks just because of how pleasantly surprised I was by them. And now the new color palette of the third season promises something new and I am eagerly waiting what's to come. So, despite all the negative reviews you might hear about it, I would give Omniverse chance anyway - as it seems to be one of those sequel shows that divide people harshly in those who love it and those who hate it and you might just as well be part of us belonging to the former.

I have no spoilers, but I do carry a trained eye towards formal reviews, and to a point I agree with the other reviews posted: This is a new show. This is a show attempting to repair the mishaps of the previous eras. Again, I am speaking from a trained eye. B10: Aliens and Ultimate Alien was filled with daily plot holes, faulty characterization follow- ups, a rapidly increasing sense of hasty generalization towards the crowd, and a bizarre singular romantic standpoint. What I admire about the brains and brawn behind Omniverse is the strength to attempt patching up what was lacking in existence. I have already gotten into details how this show repairs the Ben 10 Franchise, and thus I will not do it again. The art is a unique style to which people are judging because it is "less than up to par with the last incarnations" - no offense my friends, but that is evolution. That is the process of change, and accepting this change takes a while but it is solid and well built. Each episode can stand on its own as comical, meaningful, and in some minor sense inspirational. Ben 10 became a teenager who was arrogant, self-obsessed, and fairly cocky in Aliens and UA. Oh but wait, in the blink of an eye he'd turn 180* and be heart-to-heart and fully cognitive of the threats at hand; that doesn't settle well with me as a student teacher for disabled children - I do not want them to learn ideas of false identity. They have enough of that in the real world, why is the flip-flop occurring now in their dreams? Rook Blonko keeps Ben 10 fresh and silly by introducing a new character who is by-the-book and factual but has next to no field experience. He is down-to-earth, self-less, compassionate, and curious beyond belief. Adding his character and setting the hustle and bustle of Kevin Levin and Gwen Tennyson to the side is an incredibly smart move from any standpoint.I can go on for days with facts and actual stats following the increase of viewership here, but I fear no one will care to read it. If you were a fan of the original Ben 10, then you are nearly guaranteed to be a fan of this incarnation. I can understand the butting heads from the last two incarnations but that is the reluctance to accept change. The show has well-crafted elements, smart plot lines, and it literally patches up the many mishaps of the last few years.Omniverse, in short, returns Ben Tennyson to his original character - remarkably young at heart, unsure, witty, willing, and enduring - and inspires his fans to be willing at heart for the world to come.
