This was perhaps the worst show I have ever seen in my life. The only other shows to even come close were Battlestar Galactica and Babylon 5. In fact, mentioning this show should be illegal. It was so badly, that I felt compelled to register for this website merely to complain about how much I hat "First Contact." Seriously. It was truly terrible. If you value your sanity or your time, don't watch it. F.F.C. ought to be ashamed of himself for insulting our intelligence with this show. Not even Alf was this bad. I can't believe I ever wasted a minute of my life watching it, especially since that is time that I shall never be able to get back. There is not a single redeeming quality in this show. This is why they canceled it after its original contract. I can't believe they even let it go that far. I wish I had a time machine so that I could go back and prevent it from having been made, perhaps even conceived.

this is a strictly "hypothetical" what if? now as i understand the cloning process a suitable cell from one being is placed into the "evacuated " egg of another being the end result being a "cellular" copy of the former being? oversimplified I'm sure, now to the hypotheoretical .Isnt possible with some of the "lower" forms of life such as fish and frogs etc that the sex of these creatures can change at early stages of their lives depending upon environmental conditions, number of opposite sexed creatures in the vicinity etc ?So if humans were to be cloned one day might some individual who perhaps was dissatisfied with his or her original sexual designation convince some perhaps less than totally scrupulous MD to manipulate his/her clone to emerge from the womb a perfect copy yet of the other sex ?

This was another quality series, at least as it began. I enjoyed Spence and got hooked on the show in the first few episodes. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons. The closing shot of the second season would have been a respectable, if aggravating way to end the show.Spoilers AheadEspecially considering that the closing shots meant that all Cade's efforts had been in vain and the Second Wave was about to begin. Once the invasion actually occurred (or at least its introduction with Mabus, etc) the show lost its focus. Cade had failed in his original mission but all hope was not lost. The addition of Lords was a stupid ratings ploy that obviously didn't work (rather like the guest appearance by WWF's Sable as one of Joshua's exes). I always figured I missed the very end of the series and wondered how things eventually turned out. Come to find out, that final vision of Wasteland Earth and the crushed Coke can WAS the last ep of the series (very annoying). It was time to end the show, but perhaps they could have gone out with a bang and a conclusion instead of a whimper.

One of the worst so-called sci-fi shows ever. Coppola should be ashamed. And when they added former porn queen Traci Lords, it became a total joke. Nostradamus is definitely doing somersaults in his grave. This one will not be missed. Geared for moronic, sex-crazed teens only.
