So this is not a laugh track show. There are definitely some cute one liners, but this is a show that shows real problems that aren't given straight solutions at the end of each episode. But that's one of the best things--it's realistic! Each character is multidimensional and they're diverse in race, sexuality, and gender. Adoption, young love, moving away, learning disabilities, and the change that comes with simply growing up are all subjects dove into by a great and talented cast. The largest theme of this show is friendship and the audience is given a caring group of friends that are enjoyable to watch. Another really cool thing about this show is that the adult characters are also given storylines. They aren't just there to make breakfast or to say something funny in the middle of a crisis, but they talk about tough situations and real life problems. In my opinion, they aren't preachy or overly dramatic, but remember these are preteens/teens! Life is dramatic!! Sometimes I think they speak with such understanding that it seems unrealistic, but y'know it's a great example and also a television show. Overall, this is a needed show on Disney Channel and I'm happy it's here Give a watch!...even if you're 21 you might find yourself drawn in and get a kick of out of it--I know I did!

A ridiculous and sickening show about young 12 year olds who are too young to know what a relationship is. And way too young to be having the themes they put in this show. This is not the Disney I grew up watching and now the safest thing to watch on TV is the weather for our kids.

Andimack is about a girl (Andi) who has spent 13 years of her life thinking her grandmother is her mom. It turns out that her "sister" (Bex) is her mom. The actors are not very good. Their actions are over exaggerated and seem fake. It is not very enjoyable.Every single episode revolves around Andi and a boy named Jonah. In every episode she is trying to get his attention even though he has a girlfriend. What are we trying to teach our children? All Andi cares about is Jonah. Why is this show glorifying Bex? She had a kid, came back after 13 years, doesn't have a job or a house and is very disrespectful to her mom (Cici). It almost seems as though she is the kid in this show.Andi is also disrespectful to Cici. Bex just comes in after 13 years and Cici loses all the credit of raising Andi. It's disgusting that a Disney show is showing this.Overall, there are no good messages in this show. It glorifies being disrespectful, revolving your life against a boy, and being irresponsible. Just because there is an Asian lead doesn't hide the garbage messages.

Me and my sister love this show so much, every Friday we tune into Disney Channel and watch it. For the past decade or so, all of their shows and movies (except for Liv and Maddie) have been a piece of garbage. They just didn't have the formula for a good show. Their new shows, The Lodge and Backstage, have been hideously overrated and have terrible acting. This show's acting is actually believable and the characters all have their own unique personalities. This show gives you life lessons buried in an interesting plot. It is the perfect formula for a TV show, with twists in every single episode. Plus, who knew Andi's sister would actually be her mom?! Now, ignore the first few commercials. To me, according to the first few commercials, this show looked very tedious and dumb. But the first episode turned out being very good to me, and I binge watched the rest of the season that they had out so far. So, I think Disney Channel might be coming back! It's like if Disney Channel had a savior, Andi Mack would be their savior.
