I loved it. It was funny but sad so I think they did a great job with it. I hope you watch it if you already haven't. I think its a great way to get stress off your mind by watching other people's stress. Really is a great show. Its on Netflix for those of you who have it. If you watched and love the show please leave a review. Thanks
... View Morethis show is by far the best television series I have ever watched. there is so much drama yet the characters all end up staying friends. Whether it is Silver stealing Ade's boyfriend, Navid, or Annie dating druggies.... Or Annie taking Naomi's ex-boyfriends, their friendship is so strong that none of that matters. There is so much romance, drama, and comedy in this show that I can't help but love watching it. This is by far the best show ever. Get off your butts, stop reading reviews, lay in bed, open up netflix, and drown in your sorrows over the best show in the world. Sit at home alone on the couch eating ice cream after being dumped, or watch with a group of friends at a slumber party. whatever it takes, watch the best TV show ever.
... View MoreAfter watching the final episode of the last season, I felt how disappointed I have become with the show.Lets go back to 2008 when 90210 launched. It was exciting! I was in high school myself at the time, so it was easy for me to relate to the characters and the problems they were facing. In addition, I really liked the fact how some of the original cast members were brought back, as I was huge fan of the original Beverly Hills 90210. The show was engaging and we always discussed it with friends after another episode had aired.Four years later, I have completely changed my mind about the show. The reason why I watch it lies in the fact that I've just gotten used to it. It seems to me that the writers are desperately trying to suck something out from their pen, so to speak, to create the script. What's happening on the TV screen is FAR from being realistic.First of all, what bugs me the most are the relationships the characters are in. I mean how realistic is it that you find the love of your life TWICE during one year (Ivy Sullivan) and almost end up getting married for the second time in one year, after your husband, i.e. the love of your life has just passed away because of cancer??!! And how many main characters has Erin Silver dated/slept with? Dixon, Navid, Liam and now Teddy??? People don't just jump from one relationship to another. The same goes for Adrianna - first it was Navid, then Dixon and now it seems that Austin is the next one in line. In addition, several of the relationships are really unrealistic, as in real life those type of people wouldn't end up being together. To me the most unrealistic relationship out of them all was Silver and Dixon, two completely different people who in real life would couldn't probably stand each other. And the cherry on top of the relationships issue was, of course, Naomi suddenly realizing that she still loves MAX??! She was just about to marry Preston and now she is actually in love with the nerd again? Sit down, put your thinking cap on and figure out which relationships would make sense and stop making all the characters sleep with each other! Secondly, the episodes have nothing in them to learn from. Going back to the original Beverly Hills 90210, then each and every single episode taught the viewer a lesson. Each episode was a chapter on its own, not the same 'dramarama' split throughout different episodes like it is in the new 90210. What also bothers me a lot, is the fact that every episode in 90210 is pretty much focused on some party (usually thrown/arranged by Naomi)and a singer/band. LIFE IS NOT A PARTY EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! The problems that the characters in 90210 have seem to be there just for the sake of putting some problems into the script. I feel that the writers are just trying to put every single problem in the world into 90210, which is not convincing at all. Lets think about the last season, in terms of the problems that occurred - drugs, prostitution, getting married young, coming out of the closet, religion issues, cheating ETC. TOO MUCH!!! Not convincing. Yes, problems in the script are necessary because you're trying to reflect real life but don't put too many problems at once in! QUALITY MATTERS, not quantity! Finally, the fact that characters just disappear and sometimes re-appear again really puts me off. And the reasons behind the disappearances! For example, is there really no other place in the world except for Paris where all the characters go? I mean seriously! Even in the original Beverly Hills 90210 half of the Walsh family went there. Do they all speak French or what's whit Paris??? My recommendation would be not to end the show but to sack, if not all, then the majority of the writers, get someone young on board who knows what's going with the 20-year-olds these days on and who's seen the original Beverly Hills 90210 and would be able to put different lessons into the episodes, not just push more and more drama into the show just for the sake of it.
