This is one of those movies that can be truly classed as "so bad it's good". It's nowhere near the level of a masterpiece like The Room, but this movie is so atrociously made that it is truly comical. Almost every aspect is either cringeworthy or hilarious. A terrible movie, but a must-watch.

why the movie color setting suck like that i prefer the movie color like series the viking in History channel much more better. Why the Chinese were there (out of topic). We as a viking fan were aspect a better camera color setting for the movie, the story line is good and can be better, should be more attitude for the character (too stiff for a viking), boring all the way *yawn* in the middle of the movie no consistency, we prefer much more attitude & the funny side of them and i quote "do little but the impact is big" OK.. take it or leave it. i comment what i want but u don't have to like it. As i mention before this is my own opinion, it the future the viking movie should be more interesting, cut lose the boring part or make it funny and silly because that's what they are and makes the interesting, & remember to use different movie color setting to give a big impact because the movie color setting was dull and look boring.

Although title seems too much enthusiastic for the average review score, one cannot say they did not put together the best film they could with the budget they had. Let's just say that if the viewer keeps his/her attention on the story, there will be no chance for disappointment. Yes, the costumes may not be worthy of most recent super productions, special effects aren't surely at the top and acting may look like too theatrical. Nevertheless, it is a film made of a story that nobody, so far, could manager to tell it better in the big screen. I say this movie has everything to become a classical like Conan's. There, the viewer can find what great and passionate stories usually tell: intrigue, treason, love, a well based background story, turnover points and a compelling cause that matters to the audience. So, if you allow yourself to step back from high expectations about acting and setting, you'll may be able to have a great time. I did have, and I sincerely wish you likewise.Cheers!

This movie is so awful, that I'm too lazy to explain why. Do not watch it, waste of time. I watched it with my 12 y.o. son, and even he was disappointed. Everything looks so fake that it makes you sick. Spent 15.000.000 $ ? This makes me feel even worse. Some of the main things which made me sick:A Viking movie and Thor is a bad character? I'm sorry, but I come from the land of Vikings, and in this case I assume that in Malaysia they believe in Justinbieberism or some other crap.Some Asian kung-fu guy walking around in Scandinavian villages? It is nowadays so, but certainly not in those times.And I would like to ask the producers to sell me the paper suits of Frey and Freyja, they look exactly the same my daughters wear in kindergarten's's New Years play, and that plastic Thor's hammer would be a good toy for my 2 years old boy. And please , pretty please, never make another movie spending 15 millions. Send that money to me.
