Two Brothers is an absolutely rounding success, due primarily due to it's mature handling of a touching family story and the fact that it's such a technical accomplishment to have executed such well trained animal dynamics that have a successful variation between majestic and adorable. Two Brothers amazed me in 2 parts. One was due to the fact that the achievement of training animals to work so immaculately is just an incredible achievement because the use of real animals in lieu of the visual effects that films today are fairly reliant on is excellent in making Two Brothers seem like nothing short of a true story, and it's so stunning that I cried within the first twenty minutes because the sound and sight of an actual little tiger cub crying for it's family and struggling to run from human oppressors just hit me all too hard. The masterful technical achievements in Two Brothers is enough to watch it and the passionate effort of the filmmakers guided by the stunning direction of Jean-Jacques Annaud ensures that Two Brothers is a breakthrough in the animal adventure genre and is all to stunningly realistic to pass up. Plus, the musical score is all too excellent and the cinematography was stunning, as well as the exceptionally beautiful locations it was all filmed on.The other part is the simple fact that I just loved the story and the adventure of this movie, as well as the fact that the tigers were so adorable as cubs and majestic as adults and so it was just a treat to witness, and at times it was funny. The entire cast was also talented, especially a young Freddie Highmore. And it's impossible not to get so attached to the animals because they're all such beautiful creatures that have been mistreated for so long, and as the end if the film reveals it's gotten to the point where the number of Tigers has decreased from 100,000 to less than 5000. So Two Brothers raises a powerful moral point as well as being just as stunning adventure about brotherhood and animal life, and wad significantly more beautiful than I could have predicted and is an absolutely unforgettable experience that I vastly enjoyed.

I saw it in a time which i realize how animals are extremely lawful & humans are cruel and it assures that .. i cried in the movie more than one time because i wanted to live with such pure souls & kill those who wanna kill them !! I don't cry for any movie but this moved all my sensations .. i see that if children saw it would be a beneficial one and the haunting scenes teach them that haunting idea is totally wrong ,, to haunt for FUN is very awful .. i loved the scene of them playing with each other infront of ppl instead of killing each other ,, and also when saungha was a baby sleeping beside Raoul and the milk container in his hands like a true baby , so cute ,, I would recommend to anyone especially who don't care about animals and their matters .. thanks for such a film .. I came across this film on a TV channel today. I was definitely amazed by the style of film making and editing that one can see in the movie. It must have been hard to make the tigers portray such beautiful emotions. It is a feel good family movie with a great story line and excellent acting from all the lead actors, including the child and the tigers. The relationship between the two tigers, and their relationship with humans, mainly the hunter and the child have been wonderfully presented by the director. I am an Indian and people in India are fighting to save the last remaining members of the 'Big Cat'. This movie is ideal for all tiger lovers and can be used in the campaign for saving tigers, to educate the masses about the pain and agony tigers go through, because of selfish human actions. It is one of the best movies I've seen.

I admit, I was moved by this movie. The acting was wonderful and the human actors were not bad either. Great cinematography and a winner soundtrack to go along with a wonderful story. Basically the story of brotherly love from the point of view of tigers. Fates separated these young cubs and destiny brought them back together to rebond in perhaps not the most pleasant circumstances. This movie , showed how people treat animals and not in such a favorable way. Of course , I knew this and it was sad none the less. Family bonding ,uplifting and some great animal training to make this movie flourish. This was an animated Disney movie ala Lion King, though not the same plot, brought to real life. Simply a brilliant story and one that can hopefully , drill into peoples heads that animals , have feelings and desires just like humans. Nature should be celebrated not halted and this film, teaches wonderful lessons.
