This review is for people like me who have put off watching this film for a while. Zombie movies are not my thing.Luckily I bit the bullet, as this is a excellent character film. It is 2 hours of touching moments or upsetting behaviour. The film shows the best and worst of people, which is often true in crisis. The movie is unfortunately hindered by a few cliches towards the end, perhaps because it was made to be a success at the Box office. Only small directing choices that I feel would be better removed. Character behaving same way three times in around five minutes. A Flashback and what I assume was meant as a 3D moment. So if, you have been putting off watching this, in fear of just another Zombie movie. Or you love Zombie movies. I hope that you give it a chance as it is well worth a watch.

Characters are overly dramatic, they're seriously not being realistic. Like seriously, the main guy is clumsy and fights zombies like chicken. Why the hell hold the zombie by the neck or close to the mouth (that's obviously suicide!) when you can kick him off the train while he was talking and not completely turning yet? Why listen to a damn speech of an obnoxious turning man when you could have kicked him off from the train?!?!? But no, they're minds are too melodramatic that they waited for that man to completely turn and bite that stupid main character for the sake of ridiculous drama!

Train to Busan is an exceptional foreign film. Thrilling from start to finish with a little comedy and heart as well.I'm not one who looks to watch zombie flicks and this is maybe the first Korean film I've ever seen, however I loved it. The pacing is non-stop and the emotional stuff isn't too much. How many people died because of that Yon-suk a-hole, he was hilarious. It is also about a man's journey in Seok-woo, going from caring about only himself to being heroic and selfless, from witnessing those around him and his daughter in particular care for the welfare of others in time of peril.
