At the New Jersey shore, young Julie Peterson (Scout Taylor-Compton) saves the life of a drifter who's on the skids. Going one further, Julie resolves to save him emotionally, too, by instilling the gift of hope. But first, she has to contend with a local sheriff who wants the drifter gone and an admirer who's jealous of Julie's relationship with her new "project." Soon, a chain of events is set in motion that will change everyone's lives.

I'm sure the movie is going to be great because the writer himself is such a wonderful person. The movie is not being shown yet on theaters but I met Mark Hefti at the Suwanapoom Airport in Bangkok and tell u what I have so much faith on this guy, I was seldom being treated nicely here probably because of my short stature but meeting Mark Hefti made me feel so important. I mean, what a wonderful person is he, I was expecting that he would be snobbish and arrogant but when I talked to him he's friendly, approachable, entertaining and loves children too. My daughter was with me during that time and she never realized that she has been talking to a guy who is about to be BIG in the movie industry. If only I have got his address in L.A I wish I could send him a Christmas card. Hope he will be coming back to Bangkok..>>>Urbano Jr.

Great acting. Scout plays a compassionate character. She and Mark Hefli have great chemistry. He's convincing as someone who is lost, both spiritually and physically. Ken Arnold is definitely an actor to watch for. He's very convincing as Scout's father and shares her empathy for Mark Hefli. The cinematography alone is worth watching. I love the shots at the beach. Good choice of shots. They really help show you what's going on beneath the surface. The story is compelling. It keeps you wanting to see more. The music definitely helps enhance the mood of the film. I would recommend it for anyone who appreciates a good movie that is character driven. There was hardly a dull moment. The suspense of how Scout and Mark Hefli will resolve Mark's fight with the past keeps you want to see more of the film. It's like an Altman film where everything is connected, and you realize it by the end of the film how.

This is a truly heartwarming movie that shows us all about overcoming and that we can face some things in life that seem hopeless. Grief, lossand healing are blended in such a way that compassion rules. I thought the acting was tremendous. The character Julie was extremely believable, and Greg was devastatingly real in his portrayal of his troubled life and times. I left feeling I'd just had a wonderful gift in being able to watch Tomorrow is Today. The dialog is beautifully written, and the actors, who are until now to me unknown talent, put their heart and soul into it. The scenery and settings were effective too, and the cinematography really good. Everyone involved in the movie should be very very proud, because it is a real winner. Thanks to all of them for creating it.

This film tells the story of a down and out man who is befriended by a young girl on a New Jersey beach. She is very young, and if not under age, naive in the ways typical of a young girl. She is also sensitive to what she perceives as a cry for connection of another soul. Initially, the vagrant wants nothing to do with her, but she persists and eventually gets him to reach back and establish the connection. Parents are more than a little upset by the liaison. The filmmaker does a great job of bringing out this tension, delving into the man's demons and resolving the relationship in a pleasing way. I enjoyed the film and recommend it to anyone seeking a movie that does more than follow the usual Hollywood formula of explicit sex and violence to tell the story.
