Time Warrior Trailers

When a pirate version of the most popular - first person shooter video game lands in the hands of Matt and Jimmy, they immediately think it's the coolest video game they have ever played. Little do they know that what seems to be their favourite video game is actually an evil recruiting device to turn selected kids into real Time Warriors, at the service of "The Lord of War": an evil character behind every war since the beginning of time.

The actress who played the little girl, one of the lead actor's sister, Casey, was fantastic. She is not only beautiful but a natural actress. This movie is action packed and will keep teens and adults glued to the screen. Will buy it for sure!! Can't wait for his next movie. I am glad they are making movies here in Las Vegas and should do more. It puts the actors and actresses that are here to work. I think Nevada is underestimated, there are great actors and actresses here. I hope our City gives them more incentives to come here to film more. Many great movies have been made here. This is one of the ones. I am sure his next movie will be even better than the first.

As this is an Independent Film, I am not sure if it was ever released in theaters, but when I saw it at Walmart it looked like something my 14 year old son might like so I took the leap. While the movie is a little rough around the edges, it seems to me to that should be expected with an independent film, at least that has been my experience. All and all, it was actually a good movie. I was amazed that a movie made today (particularly one so "video game" related)was so kid and family friendly. Was an interesting take on the struggle between good and evil, and I felt the overall concept of the Time Warrior was interesting and original. Some of the acting could have been better, but from what I can see most of the actors in the movie have never been in anything before. I have to say the movie obviously left room for a sequel or even a trilogy and I would definitely like to see the next one.

I normally do not write reviews on here but every once in awhile a movie does compel you. First off, kudos to the producers. It is impressive that you were able to raise the $850,000 (rumored) for this movie's budget. Unfortunately it is the only thing impressive about this movie. The casting goes to show you that you cannot pop into a nearby high school and fill out your leads and make a good movie. I'm sure this movie was shot in a very short time because there is no chemistry whatsoever among the cast. As previous reviews have stated, the acting is absolutely wooden. These "actors" are just reading their lines. For most, I'm sure this will be a one and done movie career. It is painful at times to listen to the words coming out of these character's mouths. I could pull out individuals but let's just say the whole ensemble was terrible. The only believable actor was Daniel Ball. Who was that, you say? He was the news anchor towards the end of the movie. I think he was on screen for 45 seconds to a minute but he sounded like a real news anchor. And no, I am not related to or know this person at all.And that leads me to the story. There seemed to be potential for a good story but the execution was so lackluster. The main difference between the story and Swiss cheese is that Swiss cheese is delicious. What the story shares with Swiss cheese are the holes. Plot holes galore. The English have a perfect word for it: rubbish. Why three stars? Well, it is not the worst movie I have ever seen and the special effects (which I'm guessing took up most of the budget) is passable at best. I should have watched this movie with a friend because then there could have been shared laughter at the absurdity of it all. But watching it alone, all you can do is just shake your head.

Okay so the summary pretty much sums it up. Had this move had a real budget, or the money that was actually spent on the film been put into better CG and actors it would have been a hit.It has a great plot which has not been overdone, however it does drag some in the beginning. If you are going to have a good guy, let him be good and show more of what he is capable of doing rather than running away, let him own the role.Had this been budgeted properly with better graphics and acting I would have given it a better rating. If there is to be a followup, which I hope there is, the producers need the aforementioned items.
