To begin, any review here that rates this a 10 is written by either someone who is attempting to be funny or is a complete moron with no taste. I get that 'teen comedies' for the most part consist of raunchy humor, gutter language, and shocking subject matter. But is it too much to ask that there be a modicum of cleverness? 'American Pie', 'Porkies' and other comedies catering to young adults at least had redeeming qualities, which 'The Package' is completely devoid of.Truly, disregard the rave reviews here and don't bother with this sorry excuse of a comedy...you've been warned.

This is a movie about the madcap journey of a severed penis being delivered by it's owner's teenage friends.This obviously was never going to be Doctor Zhivago and if you expect anything more than a childish, puerile romp then fool you.It is quite well acted, the characters are likable and production is good. There is some romance and some action and even some scenery. The story chugs along ok before about two thirds in when it starts to get a bit crazy (relatively).Now there are only so many jokes you can make with a severed penis before they start to loop around. I didn't find this film massively funny, but compared to other films in the genre I think it stands up pretty well.This film is made for a specific audience and if you can't see the humor of waving a loped-off willy in someones face, then just give this a miss.Not great but fun enough - kills an hour easily enough

Trying too hard to be funny. They might have said "dick" throughout the movie 300 times, although could have been more if i had watched it all. Bottom line, it turned into a chore to watch and made me feel that i lost brain cells for watching the most part of it.

I genuinely laughed out loud plenty of times - not sure what people expected from this movie when they're giving it bad reviews, but I turned it on to be entertained and entertained I was. In the teen comedy category, it's a 10. The cast is great, the writing is funny, it will lighten up your day; enjoy!
