I enjoyed watching the 50 episodes and although the acting is pretty poor it's worth watching. Another thing that annoyed me was reading the subtitles the whole series, it would of been more authentic if it had subtitles at the beginning in China but once he was in America switched it to English. I still enjoyed it, the guy that plays Bruce Lee looks and acts exactly like him and the action scenes are quite good. I highly recommend this series, especially if your a huge Bruce Lee fan like myself. The legend of Bruce Lee lives on through this series. Loved it.

You can tell this is a Chinese product due to the terrible and cheap production value... most of the scenes which were supposed to take place in Seattle were filmed in China. There was a scene where he's talking to the owner of Ruby Restaurant and you can clearly see Chipotle in the background. Worst of all, most of the story line is pure fiction. The American characters were horribly portrayed, over exaggerated and fake. I thought Danny did a great job as Bruce Lee however the rest where terrible, especially the background actors. What a terrible way to honor the legendary Bruce Lee.

Gonna keep this short. I really wanted to enjoy this show but, I was so put off (as a few of the other reviewers have pointed out) by the anachronisms like modern cars and buildings in multiple scenes/shots. They just destroyed my personal ability to suspend disbelief enough to be able to just lose myself in the show and enjoy it.Example; I've been a huge fan of Lee (both the actor and athlete) for over 40 years, I'm also a longtime fan of the football team Arsenal and was quite pleased at the 12:05 Mark of the first episode to see an extra showing his support for them in a modern Arsenal jersey (circa 2006) Now this is supposed to be a scene meant to be set in the 1950's! That's just one example but, modern clothing, cars, buildings and I swear I saw a guy on a cellphone in the background at one point too. Its all just too much to ignore. Bottom line, I realize unless you have a endless budget these things can pop up here and there. The show as a whole wasn't bad. But all those inconsistencies, it just feels as if there's no respect for their audience. Which to me, made it un- watchable.

Freeview TV has just started to show Mon-Fridays. another episode of this drama series. TV here has little Asian or Chinese content. .. produced by China TV etc on a tight budget, with Bruce's daughter assistance.. ............................................................ Best production about Bruce that I have seen. ... ....................... Now have watched 12 episodes, SURE there are errors etc, but its nice to watch .. its almost like being there. ............................ .. Danny Chan is really good, other supporting actors are also good ........Bruce was Cantonese,, he and his family would have spoken Cantonese. ... Also in Hong Kong, at that time,, most people would speak Cantonese. However as the film was prob aimed at the CHINA audience, its natural to use Mandarin Chinese. .................................................. The HK scenes look real, back shots etc however show HK as it is now.. ... Action scenes look great.. am looking forward to seeing the remaining episodes
