Comedy is a tough genre, but it also can be very easy. It's always good to get young British acting talent together to make your movie, which is the case here. But this does not always hit the spot, trying to be as funny as possible, instead almost talking itself into a full stop time and time again. Some jokes are good though and while this isn't anything like "Big fat British wedding" (taking in the whole experience from both sides and with a group of friends), it does have quite a few cheap jokes that you'll either think are hilarious or just plain juvenile. Especially pranks right before the wedding are a "favorite" ... or that one line you say too loud in a building which almost ruins everything (though the resolution to that is far too simple). It's decent, nothing more, nothing less

I will not write about the movie, many others did it before. I only write this review to help others make a decision whether to watch or not. If you want a traditional Hollywood (predictable, sugar-sweet) movie in this genre, probably it's nothing for you. It is absolutely nothing stunning or smashing about this movie but it's much better than the 1-3 point reviews. Then again I agree with one reviewer that some review are false or absolutely ridiculous, this movie is NOT 10 or even 9, maybe if you never so a movie before and are exalted about the story and think it's a documentary like some people thought about "The X files" if not - then not! But still some funny moments with some good laughs. I rated 6 to get it little higher but actually it's a very strong 5, for me 5,5 :-) I recommend you to watch it, why? It's better than most Hollywood productions that are 100% more predictable. Thanks for reading!

This movie is a mix of everything... A bit of hangover, bridesmaid, Imagine Me & You, Love Actually... The story-line has nothing brand new, yet I think the writers have done an amazing job in branding all the bright-spots together and make this a pleasantly enjoyable movie. I also think the slow pace of the movie helps you to digest and treasure the wickedness and funniness of the script more, but it's certainly not the cup of tea for everybody. As an amateur film maker I love how the footage from the Canon 5D adds an extra dimension to the movie without compromising on the image quality. The director have made use of clever camera placement which gives a documentary touch and bring a level of reality to the entire movie.

Thoroughly enjoyed Skys preview screening of The Knot Film on 02/10/12!! You guys did good! Plenty of LOL moments definitely theBritish Rom com of the year!! I thought this was a bit of a different direction for Noel Clarke and i wasn't too sure how this would come together, but i am very pleased to say that this film did NOT disappoint in anyway! Cleverly written and well cast there were no awkward moments. Talulah Riley plays the bride to be very well and has some cracking bridesmaids played by none other than the beautiful and talented Mena Suvari, Rhoda Montemayor who steals the show as bridesmaid Anisha and also the lovely Louise Dylan. Lets not forget the real men in the film Noel Clarke, Davie Fairbanks, Mathew McNulty, Jason Maza, Brett Goldstine who i think gave class A performances!!Definitely Britains own Hangover/Bridesmaids Well done to everyone involved in making this cracker! #IDO Make sure if you see one Rom com this year this should be it!
