As a fan of found footage films and dinosaurs, this movie was right up my alley. I am a very harsh critic of the FF films, as most are just... well, terrible. Most focus on endless shaky cam, screaming idiots, and little else. This movie is not one of those. It's a wonderfully shot film, with some truly amazing scenes. There's some great (albeit low budget) special effects that really push it up a notch. And the acting is actually enjoyable. The characters act like people, not just Youtubers screaming to get attention. The plot itself is simple, yet effective. Well written without being utterly nonsensical. It actually helps drive the movie, unlike most films of this type where the plot is either non-existant or gets in the way of the movie. And as a dinosaur fan, I really enjoyed the work they put in to it. We don't have dinosaurs charging down city streets or crushing buildings. We have them acting like the animals they are. It shows clearly that the people making this film truly love dinosaurs and wanted to use them as animals and not just monsters.I highly recommend this film to everyone. It's worth watching.

I won't spoil anything about this but this was the most disgraceful god awful dinosaur movie ever even written or filmed my recommendation you want a good dinosaur movie I would recommend the documentary dealing with Pannagonia I believe the area is called because that one is a fantastic film and if you want a good science fiction thriller Journey to the Center of the Earth. There isn't a lot to say other than a lot of the camera angles and shots sucked and were frustrating to follow, I truly didn't need a family history, and their were multiple errors and problems with the dinosaurs. Again I will end that if you really truthfully love dinosaurs PLEASE DO NOT waste your time watching this film.

I just watched the movie and I have to say that it disappointed me, first of all, the moving camera, the shooting style of the film is total dizziness like "Monstruoso"(spanish title), the characters are the typical ones, not developed,in two words, nothing new, the relationship between father and son is unbelievable, similar to "Sanctuary" but worse developed than Sanctuary, another laughable and lacking sense scene was the boy find a baby dinosaur and then it defend the boy from the bad guy, an awful bad guy because he was very foreseeable, I don't know what is worse, the dinosaur defending the boy or the bad guy,the film is a joke itself, poor script with a lot of holes and a bad acting.

this must have been one of the best movies i have seen in a theater for a long time, do you know that feeling when you leave the theater and think , boy that end sucks , well : not in this movie . i had no idea what to expect , but went with an open mind to see something about Jurassic park or so , which should be kind of cool. it was a little different than Jurassic but WOW what a great movie. it is about this high tech computer whizkid , crazy about portable mini cameras that sneaks into his father's expedition to Africa to find out more about unknown animals. the story doesn't get bored for a second and kept me excited till the very end. anyone who don't like this movie should not have been thinking about go see this in the first place. you know it is about dinosaurs etc. and that is what you are going to see. and in a very interesting storyline. i can't say too much about it. but only that i really liked it a lot. let me just say that my favorite part of the movie is where he got spit in his face. that was genius. if you saw the movie you know what i mean . i gave it 9 , which is Excellent.
