When a movie gives you all the elements, and at end gives you what I phrase as 'a positive balance' you leave with satisfaction and excitement. This is what 'The Bucket List' does. The story is how two cancer patients create a "To Do" list which they want to fulfill, before dying. The factor of suffering from cancer doesn't hurt much as the patients are already old.In the run our two buddies learn from each other and an exciting feel-good-drama unfurls. The two buddies are aces of their own world. It is one of the movies, where words simply cannot define its elegance. You have to watch it to know its greatness.

Okay the thing about this movie is...... Well the best thing I can tell you is to go into this movie not expecting hilarity Because you will dislike it i hated it the first time I saw as I found it funny but not hilarious And to me I was like what a let down But I rewatched before doing this review and it was only then that I realised how beautiful The movie was how heartfelt it was only then did I absolutely love the movie It's not a comedy I look at it as a warm hearted movie with some funny moments

As I get older, I realize that there is a limit to what I can do. I've done lots of traveling and had many experiences. For me, some superficial thing like skydiving is not in the cards. Let's face it. Do we have the endurance to go out like a bright candle in the wind? I liked the comment someone made earlier about the journey being more important than the result. The friendship between these two men, whether they accomplished all those bucket list things or not, is what the film is about. I also had trouble with the wife being left behind like so much baggage, and will have to think more about that. But as time draws to a close for the men, they gave it their best shot. Would that their best shot wasn't so much of the dramatic and more of the personal. Still, if you want to see a couple of pros really do their things, watch Freeman and Nicholson at their respective bests.
