The Attic Door Trailers

A young brother and sister are abandoned in the vast and lonely landscape of the 19th century American West. Each day, they struggle to keep up the family farm, anxiously waiting for their parents to return. With nowhere to escape, the two siblings are about to discover that they are not entirely alone. As much as they try to deny the truth, something behind the attic door has awakened and they must now face their greatest fear. THE ATTIC DOOR is the story of love, loss, loneliness, and the truth behind childhood fears.

This is a wonderful story beautifully shot somewhere in the American Southwest, Arizona or New Mexico my guess. The child actors are superb. The story kept me guessing, and, unusually, I was surprised at the twist in the tale. Great job to all involved. (No jump scares or sex scenes--some mild gore in keeping with life on a pioneering homestead). Mostly this film made me look at my own future death, and caused me to really want to be ready when that time comes.

I started watching without any expectations and soon realized it was a very "simple" and slow movie but its very compelling because of the characters, its a beautiful story about a bond between siblings the whole movie revolves around a brother and a sister left to survive on their own,in essence its really about hope, trust, family in a very simple backgroundIf you are thinking whether you should watch or not The Movie doesn't have all that many dialogues, most of the story you have to intepretate yourself (its not hard) if you go into the movie without great expectations and just looking for a nice movie about siblings you should not regret this one.
