I can't possibly describe in how many ways I hate this movie. When I started watching it I knew it would be cheesy, contain bad jokes and be full of stereotypes. But I never expected something like this. Aside from the fact that Amanda Bynes seems stiff and unnatural (and I don't mean her overdone tan), all the while the movie is trying to be funny and only gets to the point where it's embarrassing. I'm kind of ashamed I even watched it to the end. It's filled with the worst kind of stereotypes and I consider it a joke, that they tried to make Sydney seem different, dorky and nerdy by letting her read comics and have no girlfriends. Seriously? She is so obviously a popular girl that I wonder if there is even one person able to relate to her. Don't get me wrong. I wanted a cheesy 0-8-15 teenager-movie, but they destroyed the whole idea of it by trying to relate to subcultures and outsiders. They only made fun of everyone who does not apply to a certain standard. The lifeless-eyes-no-real-emotions-ever Sydneys on this planet. I wasted almost two precious hours of my life. Thanks for that, Nussbaum. I will never ever watch another movie of yours.PS: I liked the performance of Jack Carpenter. PPS: Oh I could go on describing my hatred towards this movie, but I'll spare you the time and just say: DON'T WATCH IT. PPPS: Pity, that you do have to give a star.

Did not expect it to be as good as it was! For a girl who loves pink and star wars like me it was great- really funny! Loved the Battle Star reference-even my partner laughed at that and he is not really into this type of movie but then he sat down and watched the rest with me.This is the kind of movie where at the beginning I would really want to live in the nice house with the girls but by the end I would love to live with the guys in the Vortex!Really wish they had this type of college/living situations here in NZ- Totally recommending this movie to my friends (girls and guys) as it is really great for a clean laugh

Don't get me wrong, this movie is enjoyable. I really like AB; she's rather talented and enjoyed her performance in She's the Man. This movie is a clean comedy that is actually enjoyable by all ages. The acting was great, the plot, not so much. The plot is extremely predictable. The geek stereotypes are insulting, I really doubt any girl can be as shallow as the sorority and the Snow White references weren't really subtle. They make her work on a Mac just so the hacker can feed her a "Poisoned Apple"(yes he says that). I mean come on, the idea of a movie reference is that it's SUBTLE. You don't explain it, people figure it out. But regardless the actors did make the best of a bad situation and did make it enjoyable but the plot itself really annoyed me. 4/10

Honestly...at first I looked at the front cover and thought hey, this looks like a crappy chick flick being my sisters have already seen the movie twenty times, and the cover just looks corner. So right away the movie starts off slow, introducing who she is, what she does, her mom died when she was nine, yada yada. It picks up when she has to fill the kappa legacy, her getting kicked out and sent to Vortex to chill with her nerd friends, and the election.I soon realize with all the brilliant names like White Witchburn and Prince that this movie was all about a modern day Snow White. The dorks are the dwarfs, the virus is the poisonous apple, the "Hi Hoes", it really had a lot of cameos from its model film. The message this movie portrays is a positive one, and you will laugh a lot along the way...especially if you've experienced college, are doing so now, or on their way, it's fun for everyone."I've never had sex, but I really, really want to!"
