Very average Spaghetti/Paella/Butifarra Western shot in Spain with two usual genre stars : Richard Harrison and Fernando Sancho as well as customary secondaries as Bruno Corazzari , Gustavo Re and Antonio Molino Rojo . Amusing Macarroni/Tortilla or Gazpacho Westen with plenty of action , crossfire , brawls , double-crosses , twists and loads of shots . The movie is running out of ideas a bit ; nevertheless , it is still good enough to be fun . It stars Robert Walton (Richard Harrison) , as an ex-gunfighter who was Texas' fastest gun , and , nowadays , runs a Wells Fargo station along with his wife (Erika Blanc) and son . Meanwhile , an outlaw called Anthony Stevens (Bruno Corazzari) is wanted for murder , reward : 2000 dollars , dead or alive . When he goes into the saloon and there takes place some brawls , the sheriff detains Stevens . Later on , the nasty but sympathetic bandit Ramón Sartana (Fernando Sancho) along with his henchmen (Gustavo Re , Indio Gonzalez , Antonio Molino) assault a Wells Fargo stagecoach , take the passengers and go to the Wells Fargo station where lives Robert Walton , but the cutthroats are the wrong place at the right time . Then , the villainous boss and hoodlums harass , mistreat them , and attempt to rape women . Robert has hidden his weapons but when the assaulting begin killing passengers he takes his guns and seeks vengeance and justice . In the process , Anthony Stevens (Bruno Corazzari) is imprisoned but in jail tries to getaway . Later on , Stevens is freed by a corrupt jury and after that , he decides to team up with Sartana and he arrives in Walton's property , and things go wrong . This stirring tortilla/Ravioli Western packs thrills , shootouts , noisy action and riding pursuits . Italian-Spanish co-production filmed in Catalunya , full of familiar faces , assaults , exaggerated characters , gun-down , lots of shots , fights and with some looks that say it all , including an exciting ending . Starring Richard Harrison who stands out his strong , piercing eyes and striking look , featuring as a man out for vendetta . Harrison is passable as a retired gunfighter who vows revenge to kill the attackers , as he ravages the screen , he jumps , leaps and bounds , hits and runs ; besides , receiving violent punches and wounds . Worthwhile watching for a demonstration of the confrontation between the tough ex-pistolero Richard Harrison and Fernando Sancho as the notorious killer called ¨Sartana¨, though this Sartana has nothing to do with the hero starred by Gianni Garco . Rchard Harrison played in Hollywood some minor roles as ¨Kronos¨, ¨South Pacific¨ and ¨Master of world . Then , Harrison jumped at the chance when offered the first character in 1961 ,¨The Invincible Gladiator¨ , which was filming in Europe . He wound up settling in Italy for the next two decades . To avoid being penned in too much as a muscle man , he sought characters in routine spaghetti westerns as ¨Texas the Red¨, ¨Gringo¨, ¨Reverendo Colt¨ , ¨Joe Dakota¨ , even the main role from ¨For a fistful of dollars¨ was offered to Richard Harrison , but he turned down and explaining : Maybe my greatest contribution to cinema was not doing Fistful of Dollars, and recommending Clint Eastwood for the part . Support cast is frankly good , thanks to the boastful Fernando Sancho , playing a likable but murderous bandit , as usual . He played a Mexican outlaw lots of times , as he starred multitude ¨Chorizo¨ or ¨Pipperone¨ Westerns , as the quarrelsome , swanky Mexican bandit , such as : ¨A pistol for Ringo¨, ¨Return of Ringo¨, "Requiem for a Gringo" , "Dakota Joe" , ¨Winchester Bill¨ , "The Man Who Came to Kill" and several others . Here appear important secondaries from Spaghetti/Tortilla or Paella Western , these are the followings : Bruno Corazzari , Antonio Molino Rojo or Red Mills , Gustavo Re , Cesar Ojinaga , Gaspar 'Indio' González , among others . This violent tale being decent but poorly photographed by Luciano Trasatti in Eastmancolor . Mostly filmed in atmospheric though poor scenarios on location in Fraga , (Huesca) , similar to Almeria , and a Western village located in ¨Splugles De Llobregat¨ built by Balcazar Productions and in Matadapera , Barcelona , Catalonia . Atmospheric musical score by Enrique Escobar , Iquino's ordinary . The film was produced in low budget by Ignacio F. Iquino (IFI) that financed lots of Westerns . Most of them starred by Richard Harrison , Jorge Martin or George Martin , Luis Davila , Daniel Martin or Robert Woods . The motion picture was regularly directed by Juan Bosch . He managed to make a fluid and filled with thrills , duels , attacks , and shots , though average and in low budget . Juan was a Spanish craftsman , writing and directing ; working from the 60s in all kind of genres and B movies such as Spaghetti Western : ¨Dallas¨, "God in Heaven.. Rating : 4.5/10 , mediocre but entertaining , though sometimes embarrassing . If you like Chorizo , Paella , Tortilla , Butifarra or Spaghetti westerns , this one remains lightly watchable .

Bandits under their leader Ramon (Fernando Sancho) take the passengers of a stagecoach as hostages. The bandits want to spend some time in a safe place, namely a coaching inn. Walton (Richard Harrison), the owner of that place, is a retired former gunman, though. He has hidden his guns away, but when the bandits start killing the hostages and threatening his wife (Erika Blanc) and son, it's time for Walton to get the guns back, right? But things are getting even worse as his former worst enemy Stevens (Bruno Corazzari) is also on his way to the station.'Prima ti perdono... poi t'ammazzo' is a western below average, simple and predictable, with sloppy photography, and apart from completists who like to watch all movies with Fernando Sancho or Richard Harrison in them, nobody really needs to bother.
