A+ Thru the wonder of Netflix, I saw this glorious film. I know some say the film industry is dead these days, though it's highly debatable, but this film is a living testament that just isn't so. Obviously done on a relatively small budget, the film will upset those expecting a large extravagant production scale. No, this film is shot like a play actually, which makes for some interesting and creative cinematography. The majority of the movie takes place in a darkened room; the only things that can be seen are the two main characters who are illuminated by spot lights. The exchange of dialogue is comedic and also well written. Lo, the titular demon, is played extremely well by Jeremiah Birkett , and I mean extremely well. And Ward Roberts is also damn good. The demon Geez (Devin Barry) is a great character and some question the acting of Sarah Lassez but I found her very enjoyable. Oh, and did I mention there are some great musical numbers in this one? Yeah, so it's a horror-comedy-musical with a dash of mystery. With some very nice writing to boot, very nice, I can recommend the film to anyone with an appreciation for the unusual.

Well, I thought this movie was amazing. I found it as a recommendation on my Netflix and thought I'd give it a try since I love horror/cult classics. Well, it's not exactly a horror movie, at least in the strict sense. But, it is very amusing and different. It's very minimalistic; most of the story takes place with no scenery. It's just Justin and Lo. Lo has quite a way with words. In fact, I found the dialog witty and at times unexpectedly deep despite its obvious humor. The musical numbers are hilarious. I also really enjoyed the concept of viewing your relationship from the outside, because reality may be very different from your perceptions. Anyway, great low budget movie. I can't see it being a film that everyone will see, but it's definitely a great movie for a quirky audience.

What a fascinating movie. That's really the best way to describe it: fascinating. There is something about Lo that is strangely intriguing. It's hard to explain. The plot is very simply. A young man named Justin is in love with a woman who is unexpectedly taken away by a demon. Justin summons a different Demon by the name of Lo in hopes of getting his girl back. This plot develops into a complex but very intriguing narrative with great acting and costumes, despite it's low budget. (The whole film takes place in one room). It's hard to explain, but there was something about Lo that I really loved. I guess it's the way that this movie really cared about it's characters. The characters were deep and well written. Really great movie.

-----Spoilers out the ying yang----Most likely anyway......Once in a long while you get something this awesome. I have no precedent with which to compare this. Lo starts off right at the beginning and had me mesmerized the entire time. I never even cared that it was stage acting. Didn't notice it. Would not have cared if I did. Loved the "Demon girl" song even though it was long. Lo is awesome in his depiction of hardcore old school gangster talk. The talking palm is disturbing, to say the least. The guys hanging out off- stage getting ready for when they are needed. My I could go on for hours. It's tons of fun and a massively understated trip through dark humor. IMHO
