Safety Not Guaranteed is not a laugh-out-loud comedy, but it is an amusing comedy. Aubrey Plaza plays herself with a twist of emotion and Mark Duplass gives a very convincing performance as an amiable crazy person. This movie has heart, it has quirk, it has cheese and it appropriately balances the three. Some may be put off by the strangeness of it all, but that's just the government implant in your brain talking.

It has been half an hour since I finished watching this movie; the daft grin it left plastered on my face is still there and refusing to budge. An utterly beguiling film, with an ending which pleases the romantic fantasist in me no end!! Watch it! I shall say no more!

Jeff heads to investigate along with two interns Arnau and Darius.Basically, This ad has appeared in a real newspaper and it was featured on Jay Leno's The Tonight Show. The only question that drives the movie is whether the time machine news is real or not?. If you are searching for a science fiction movie kind of stuffs, You are looking at the wrong place. Overall, it may not be a great movie, but it's a nice enjoyable flick.

As bad an actress as Plaza is and as cheerfully try-hard this flick turned out to be, I'd still happily watch Duplass doing his taxes. On that basis, I found this movie underwhelming but still providing enough points for my attention to cling onto -- hence the most favorable rating. That aside... I mean... it's only just another formulaic, quirky rom-com. Cute at times, cringe-worthy at others, characters a little flat, narrative contextually askew in order to fit the love-story. Nothing that hasn't been done before or won't be done again -- a 'take it or leave it' effort.
