A movie should contain a lot of element which will push me to rate perfect 10. This movie deserved it. Why because I didn't expect it to be a much-moving movie (so, expect less). Reality Wise: The movie is unreal for most of its aspect as it uses time machine & some animals speaking but, if you watch sci-fi or fantasy movie like Interstellar/ Harry Potter, you won't be new to this concept. I'll tell you why you will still buy it. Action Wise: I mean If you like Transformers because you like action & you think of action here then sorry, wrong movie for you. Adventure, Suspense, Emotion, Dialogue, Creativity Wise: You will love the plot which goes back & forth in time. You will love how they play with the emotions. I WILL SAY THE MOVIE PLAYS WITH YOUR EMOTIONS & ALSO PLAY WITH YOUR GOALS. It will definitely inspire you with its simple but amazing quotes/dialogues. WHY ITS INSPIRATIONAL FOR ALL is because of the twist of the plot. Which most of the children won't like, but an adult would love. SO what is the twist theme? THE TWIST THEME IS THE MATURITY IN THE BOY as he grows. It ends heart-warming way. With a lovely message about Goals & tells You are the Fortune teller of your story. After seeing this movie, the kids at first said, "Thanks, Mom. That was good." But after a little while, we discussed the movie and began to see the cheesiness and flaws in it.First of all, Disney shouldn't play with going to the future. The villain was real weak. I began to get a bit confused and wonder what was going on with Disney when, near the beginning of the movie, the bad guy laughed and hid behind a curtain. Not confused about the plot, more like confused about what Disney was doing with itself! We were lost with all the exaggerated expressions and silliness that didn't make us laugh. This takes place in the future, and it's a different, not-so-realistic type. A more reasonable future wouldn't have tubes you can travel through and a whole bunch of loops and strange buildings, but the type of setting and community in Big Hero 6, which is a hilarious and much better movie. The whole family is very weird, and there's a message about love between a weird family, which is good and makes me add one star, but the message would've been stronger if the plot hadn't been so odd and Disney hadn't messed around with the future. This is nowhere near a classic, and it is one of my least favorite movies.

As WDAS's second all-CGI film, Meet the Robinsons mainly gets off from its messages, but like some of the more influential Disney films (*cough* Zootopia *cough*), it offers quite a bit of substance to go with it. While I will say the writing does get confusing at times and doesn't take full advantage of all of its ideas (including some plot points that I swear I've seen before), what was done right is dazzling for a sci-fi film, including its progressive message of "Keep Moving Forward" and discouraging blame from others so that one can take responsibility for themselves (hmm, seems like something going on right now, doesn't it?). Many of the characters who are important (there are a few more comic reliefs than I am comfortable with) set good examples for children and show the negatives of pessimism and not accepting one's faults. It is depicted through solid animation that is undoubtedly a step in the right direction for WDAS after Chicken Little, giving some nice effects and helping the cartoony action be engaging. It all goes to show that after the horrid years of 2005 and 2006 for animation, 2007 ended up being a revival, and in my eyes, this quickly became a front-runner. While its ideas will surely repel some people, I can recommend this to just about anyone.

After the last two not-so-good entries in the Disney Animated Classics line-up (Home on the Range and Chicken Little), I wasn't enthusiastic about Meet the Robinsons. However, after watching it, I was pleasantly surprised! It's an interesting story about a young orphaned boy named Lewis, who is an inspiring inventor and meets a mysterious stranger named Wilbur Robinson. He takes Lewis to the future and together they team up to track down the nefarious Bowler Hat Guy, who wants to change the past.Sure, this movie has another sci-fi themed plot. However, what results is more than just cliché sci-fi action. There is actually heart to the movie and well-developed characters, from Lewis yearning to find his birth mother to Wilbur encouraging him to move on and believe in himself to help him save the future. Each member of the Robinson family is eccentric and lovable and the other supporting characters have their own charm - all delivering drama and humor to the film. This film also has plenty of twist and turns and unsuspecting moments, which gives the story some suspense and intriguing moments, and also sends messages about the importance of family, fate and letting go & moving forward. The CGI animation is colorful and detailed (I especially liked the city outline) and the direction is well-paced. The inscription at the end of the movie by Walt Disney is touching, giving this film a spark of that special "Disney touch." The movie is a little too heavy on the sci-fi elements, but overall, it's one of the better Disney animated films from the 2000s.Grade B
