Motion capture, animations, layouts, mattes, composites are all first rate as usual. 95% living/breathing human accurate while the other 5% adds an other worldly human replicant/android style artificiality to how the humans move which actually enhances the visual mystery effect further. Storyline, voicing, dialogue, settings, sound effects all add to that first rate quality. The only drawback is virus creating zombies is getting old, old, old, but again they did a first rate job with that redux. Even the zombies were a cut above the norm.

Great Funon a Sunday evening I was thinking hmm...nothing to do..so what to watch ..& tuned into this with not much expectation. At the end of it, I would review it as one of the finer action 'movies' I have seen till date , i.e if this can be termed as a movie.Action: 9.8 /10 (I don't know what's holding me not to give a 10 here) I want to see Chris and Leons moves again in slow-mo, all moves they made were not 'cartoonic' at all..but real life dynamic moves which will yield more or less the same results :). Too good..thx. CapcomStoryline: 6 to 7 . with some RE clichés like always saved by the bell..no..rising choppers.Overall: Very very satisfied with my Sunday evening choice :)

RE Vendetta isn't bad. Im not gonna bore you with mindless reading. The animated films are better then the real films created mainly cause it feels like your just watching huge ass long CGI moment from a game and its fun.I was lucky enough to watch the first 9 minutes released online and was so on edge about it.The mansion just made me instantly fall in love with this but ill be honest the suspense then dropped.Leon AGAIN was the special agent who can dodge bullets and pretty much be like Neo in the matrix. people are tired of Leon playing the lead and a smug agent who can just kill zombies using his pinky.SPOILER the one thing that kept me interested was what would happen to rebecca, it kept me on edge.as for Chris, he seemed like the usual guy he is in games and films but they need to stop making Leon this amazing character. The story itself wasn't too impressive and its not a film id probs watch again but it was OK 6 / 10

Visually this movie is great. Good facial expressions and decent "gun- fu" scenes. But the story is totally boring. Yeah, it's good to see Leon, Chris and Rebecca again, but the plot is totally predictable. No meaningful suspense and the explanations are too shallow. But again, as a RE game fans, if you ask me, which one would you prefer to watch, this movie or those RE live actions, I won't hesitate to pick this movie. At least the lore is still original.
