The reasons why I don't like this movie are: 1) The plot made no sense. Roscoe makes a beautiful holographic rock star, falls in love with someone who isn't real, then ends up going with his best friend?! I am sorry, but haven't we heard that somewhere before? 2) This is minor, but the name "Sam" is really starting to get on my nerves. It says on here that her name is Samantha, but they call her Sam. Disney needs to take that name and SHOVE it right out the window. They use it WAY too much as a girl name. Pick better names.3) The acting. The acting was okay but it wasn't the greatest. Ricky Ullman is one of the worst I have ever seen(actually I have seen a lot worse) but he is up there.4) The kissing. Yes there was 2 parts where Sam and Roscoe kiss. Can you say wimpy? They were not cute, nor sweet. They were 1 second each and totally lame. They were like 2 8 year olds kissing.Overall this film wasn't very good.

I found this movie to be disappointingly lacking in plot, therefore losing its appeal to me. The lip-syncing is so terrible I find myself muting the singing scenes. And if Loretta is a good dancer, then I must be an expert. And I suck. The special effects were decent enough, but it was by no means able to make up for the plot--or lack-thereof. Ricky and Leah did the best performances, but it is my opinion that the rest of the movie was dragged down by Spencer Redford. So, in my opinion this is a movie that is probably turned off quite often.

This is just a fun movie to watch. Forget that Loretta could never exist (at least not for a LONG time) and just lose yourself in the story of a young couple realizing what they mean to each other and in overcoming obstacles in realizing their dreams. It's also about a girl (hologram, actually) coming to terms with her existence, sacrificing herself to save another and making the best she can with what life dealt her. I enjoyed it a lot!

Bad, a lot a crap. It copied simone, also a bad movie! Them flips when "loretta modern" sang was lame. That internet scenes made it worse. And Roscoe loves a "hologram"! Thats plain stupid! I give 0 stars! Because they copied, the plot was stupid, THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS THUMBS DOWN ALL THE WAY!
