I just saw this movie and while it's low budget, so much so that all the gunshots were added in later; it's very well made. It goes on just long enough, with an ending that BEGS for a sequel. And I laughed so hard my eyes were in tears all throughout. The guys who made this movie, watch out for them. They'll only get better. This movie doesn't really drag, either. And the dance number early in the film blew me away. It's pretty brief, and I wish there had been more. Yes, a B (or even C) movie with a dance number. A tremendous amount of nun jokes and good dialog. Loved the lead nun and her sisters, too. This movie is nun-thing but fun.
... View MoreA non-stop hilarious tale packed with awesome, ass-kicking characters! A look into the secret world of NUNS behaving badly. Ever wanted to know what Heaven REALLY looks like? Highly original, refreshing, and great splatter effects. I laughed so hard I cried. Mama's character is especially enjoyable - as well as Jesus, who also, curiously, doubles as the Devil!Best movie I've seen in a long time (and, not just saying that because I was lucky enough to be a part of it) - I have not laughed so hard in a movie theater for a number of years. Props to the whole SFR cast and crew!!
... View MoreThis film is awesome... It is drop-dead hilarious.I loved the short and I love this one more. It's seriously non-stop laughter and there's something for everyone from clever jokes to physical humor. The look of the film is awesome too - straight out of the grind-house style of the 1970s. And major kudos to the actors. Not only are the completely believable with their characters, but they are able to pull off the jokes without being campy or cheesy about it.This is by far my favorite Richard Griffin film and I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD. If you haven't seen it you must - I would bet that this becomes a cult hit. It's way too good not to.
... View MoreRuggedly cute director Richard Griffin is back again with his newest movie, Nun of That. This movie had me sucking my fingertips after eating my popcorn. Frequent Griffin alum, Jason McCormick, stands out as Father Thomas with his impressive chin. While Brandon Aponte's visibly chiseled pectorals make me wish he'd carry me away in his strong arms with his dreamy piercing stare. The dashingly handsome Robert Buco plays Officer Cappicolla, just like the tasty cured meat product of the same name, I prefer the hot version of both. I'm guilty, put the cuffs on me and take me away Officer Cappicolla. As an added surprise, Troma legend Lloyd Kaufman appears as the Pope which is a must see for any of his fans.Run, don't walk, to this. Make sure to butter your popcorn first.
