This film tells the story of five people who agree to spend six months in a house in the middle of nowhere, in return they will get one million dollars. The catch is that no one will get paid if anyone leaves the house.I confess that I only watched "My Little Eye" only for Bradley Cooper. I expected it to be a terrible film, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The plot is captivating and thrilling, because the characters and the viewers don't know what is truly happening. Hence, I have no idea how the film will end. Every twist is a surprise, and keeps me guessing what is really happening! When the truth is revealed an hour into the film, I am completely captivated by the plot, and I can hardly catch my breath. I enjoyed watching it a lot!

I have been a fan of this movie for many years now, and it's the first I've seen that uses the reality TV angle in a slasher movie, although not a fresh idea anymore but at the time it was. The story line which I found was pretty solid and creates mood and tension the entire way through. The house was genuinely creepy which makes the perfect setting and the snowy outside was eerie as well.Okay this movie may take a while to kick off, but it still kept me interested with the surprise twists and turns and the interesting cast when they interact with each other kept me hooked the entire way through. But there are a few small flaws like some the gaping plot holes and some things that didn't quite make sense and why would anyone in their right mind stay in a house in the middle of nowhere for 6 months, for something that would be obviously fake. But other than that this movie still packs a punch especially when the true intentions are revealed at the end and comes fast and thick and the creative camera angles and split screens was used to good effect.Laura Regan was spot on as the obvious final girl, and found her likable and believable while displaying her moods and emotions. Sean Johnson was unfortunately the more underplayed and underused cast members in this movie, but he did a pretty okay job. Jennifer Sky was simply stunning and fun and can act as well, which is always a bonus. Stephen O'Reily gave a credible performance as the unofficial leader of the group, he quickly becomes more interesting as the movie goes on and Kris Lemche as the rebel of the group acted really well as the unlikeable and selfish member of the group. All in all "My Little Eye" is an interesting addition to the horror genre that fully kicks in and becomes really brutal towards the end, with some awesome kills and a cool creepy house.

I just watched this film one day ago and I found this film has a very interesting storyline, about 5 people who accepted a challenge to live together in a small house in the isolated wood. But, soon they found something's wrong with the competition. The film use a semi-mockumentary style camera and make it more scary to be watched. The scoring and lights effects also very great. But the film has some weakness. First, the acting of the actor and actress were okay but not very good. I couldn't see a well scared expressions from them. And I also hate the ending. It's the worst part of the movie. I think why should the villain kept one of his victim alive in a small room instead of killed her?

Technology and the Internet allow endless possibilities for innovative film-making, taking us places we haven't been before, looking at people and objects in new ways, telling stories that need to be told. Unfortunately, this film does none of the above. In "My Little Eye," a sort of "Real World" meets "Blair Witch Project," a group of five young people agree to live together in an old house for five months while cameras film their every move for a Webcast. If they succeed, they split $1 million. If even one of them leaves, they get nothing.I'm glad I wasn't competing for the prize, because I wouldn't last 10 minutes with this self-absorbed group. The whining is unrelenting, the characters are wholly unlikeable, and let's just say there are no Mensa members present. The film offers plenty of gimmicky camera angles to make up for the lack of any real sense of tension or horror. The acting is poor, the dialogue is overwrought, and the twist ending is contrived. It appears that technology offers just about anyone with a computer and a Steadicam the opportunity to become a filmmaker, but sadly, it has also opened the door to mediocre films like this.
