All the songs very beautifully sung and the lyrics very also very good. Specially the last song "Ae-Khuda". Today i have become fan of "Mohit Suri" and i hope more good movies to be released n directed by him.. Emran Hasmi did very superb acting, Priya was looking too hot through out the movie... although she was there for very short scenes.... Oh yeah. The villain......... hahaha.... He was really very freaking creature...... moreover acting was very good by him too. If its still on cinemas..... go and watch it.Rather buy two tickets. One for yourself n one for me because i m planning to watch it again... ;) 10/10
... View MoreSaid to be inspired from the South Korean film, 'The Chaser', 'Murder 2', directed by the talented Mohit Suri, is an engaging thriller, that offers thrills, chills & proficient performances. Sure, there are minuses here and there, but in totality, this recent Box-Office Super-Duper-Hit, hits the right notes.'Murder 2' Synopsis: A former police officer gets hired by a gangster to trace missing call girls and, their abductor.Shagufta Rafique's Screenplay, is excellent in the first-hour. Though the second-hour loses pace, the culmination to this twisted thriller, is very interesting. Also, the character of the menace, played fabulously by Prashant Narayanan, is terrifying! Mohit Suri's Direction is picture-perfect. Cinematography is great. Editing could've been sharper. Music by Various Artists, is top-notch.Performance-Wise: Prashant Narayanan steals the show with a terrifying performance. The highly under-rated actor plays the twisted/sadistic villain, most effectively. Emraan Hashmi is impressive. Jacqueline Fernandez doesn't get much to do. Sulagna Panigrahi is nice. Sudhanshu Pandey leaves a mark. Sandeep Sikand plays his part decently. Shweta Kawatra appears in a cameo. Others lend support. On the whole, A Dark & Twisted Thriller, that comes out a winner. Thumbs Up!
... View MoreEmraan Hashmi and Prashant Narayan (I loved him in Yeh Saali Zindagi) were just splendid! Jacqueline is supposed to be the eye candy and she does it well. She adds more spice than Mallika Sherawat.Music is a plus point of the movie. Aye Khuda is shot in a brilliant way (Mohit Suri did the same thing in Awarapan). Haal – E – Dil sounds good too. Background score by Raju Singh is okay. The fault with the movie is in its screenplay. Due to the urge to mix up erotica with thriller, Shagufta Rafique messes with the flow of the movie. Dialogues are crisp. The actions and visuals were dark and intense, apt to the theme.Overall, Mohit Suri had his heart and mind on the correct track while making the movie, but if the story and screenplay were better (or should I say logical); the movie would have worked wonders. A worth watch anyways!
