A man wakes up in a hospital bed and has his head bandages unwrapped to find he is not alone in the room as it seems there is now no noise unless it is provided by a pair of Foley artists and a small musical troupe providing a score. This comical little short plays on this idea pretty well as it quickly builds into a solid payoff. The idea is cleverer than the delivery it must be said and, while it started out with very simple sounds being delivered I thought it had potential for more outlandish things to be done before the patient fled the room – the song and dance number really didn't do it for me because I preferred the smaller aspect of the two sound guys, not the bigger flow of the orchestra. That said it does all work well because the few minutes move by well and the payoff is nice. The film looks and (of course) sounds good too, with nice comic delivery from Mark Doherty in the title role.
