Director Vasanth is back with Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal (MPMK). As the title suggests the film is about love that blossoms between three couples and after some twists and turn, how it culminates. Set in three landscapes, in a hill station, in a sea-shore and in a plane, the three love stories have one commonality. How the commonality brings the three love stories on a platform forms the story. Vasanth sent across a message not only about love but also about the society in large. Like any Vasanth movie, the film is musically rich and the visuals are apt and appealing. The film is also devoid of loud characters and villains. Among the three pairs, it is the Arjun- Surveen pair that is hard-hitting and the director has carefully positioned their love story for the second half.It seems there is a big chemistry between Vasanth and Arjun and the actor excels in frame after frame. This is the second time they are joining to do a film after Rhythm. Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs are very good, except for the song Stop the pat…which appears plugged in and hampers the pace. Also the song, Padapadakkuthu Maname…is too lengthy. Mazhai Mazhai… and Aha Kaadhal…which are already hits in FMs are the best songs in the movie and linger in the mind for the musical and visual quality. Bhojan K Dhinesh's camera has captured the right moods of the movie and has given a visual treat. The film's editing is good and except in the first 30 minutes, the film has very gripping pace. Vasanth's story and screenplay are praiseworthy and the last of the film stuns you beyond words.

After a six-year sabbatical, director Vasanth returns with his new film Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal. The film stars Arjun, Cheran, Vemal, and Muktha Bhanu along with newcomers Surveen Chawla and Lasini in the lead roles. Director Vasanth's son Ritvik plays a cameo role, supported by Apppukutty, Sathyan, Thambi Ramaiah and John Vijay. Bhojan K Dinesh handles the cinematography and editing is by S N Fazil. The film opens in the year 2016, with actor Vemal narrating incidents that occurred in the lives of these couples over the last few years. Thus the entire film is in the form of a narration. The first couple's - Varun (Vemal) and Anjana (Lasini) - love story is set in a serene hill station. Varun is a chartered accountant who falls in love with Anjana, who in turn is in love with another person and is engaged. The second couple's - Guna (Cheran) and Malliga (Muktha Bhanu) - love story is set in the seashore. Guna is a social worker who helps ex-convicts to start a new life. He does not have time to fall in love or get married, but Malliga falls in love in with him. The location for the third couple's - Harris (Arjun) and Divya (Surveen Chawla) - love story is the plain lands. Harris is a swimming coach who trains his student Divya. They both fall in love with each other, but there is some twist in their story which is unfolded as the film's story progresses. The music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is the saving grace of 'Moondru Per Moondru Kadal'. The beautiful lyrics of songs such as 'Mazhai mazhai' 'Kadal endan kadal' and 'Aaha kadal' work wonders and keep you engaged in movie. The Story was taken in a spectacular way, very impressive.Amazing choreography, the song "Stop the Pattu" is good,after a long time people got an opportunity to enjoy a movie with their family members.Each and every scene is premeditated in a brilliant manner.
