This movie has horrible acting, horrible filming, horrible everything ! I wasted an hour an a half watching this, I know it was a low budget movie, but seriously, it sucked. Maybe little kids would enjoy it, but definitely not like pre-teens, and teens. Like 5-7 year olds maybe.Honestly this movie has really bad acting, they don't't know how to act, it's really annoying and boring. I advise you don't waste your time watching this garbage.There were a few actors that could act, but most could not. Like none of the main girls could act! They all act really cheesy to me. Please, if you really want to buy this movie, watch it first!! Because I would not want to waste a dime of my money on this garbage movie. So I recommend if you really want to see this movie rent it, or watch it on TV or online first!

I was surprised that this movie was as good as it was. It doesn't have the gloss and production of a typical tween movie but the story line was decent. I especially like that it portrayed girls working together, using their brains, and moving past personality differences. The characters were all dressed modestly but cute which was refreshing. I thought the actresses did a good job of creating their characters, giving them a little depth and back story. However the story as a whole was very predictable. I am so tired of shows that depict the drama between girls at this age picking each other apart. This movie showed the girls something positive, a different reality that is possible even if it's not popular. These issues go back forever but we can keep trying to overcome them and I think this is a movie that helps our girls see positive ways to interact with difficult people or work through trying situations. All in all, it wasn't horrible to sit through though honestly I was reading or on the laptop but still, happy to be a presence when they would ask a question or make a comment. It's a mom & daughter movie for sure, good for a sleep over.

I don't know who's been writing all of these glowing reviews for this film, but I'm guessing that they've either never seen a film before in their lives or maybe they had something to do with making the film. That's about the only explanation, because EVERYTHING is BAD about this film. The writing is horrible, the acting is terrible, the casting is awful and the direction is pathetic. I can understand a bad script and the poor direction, but couldn't they have at least found some interesting actors?? It seems like you'd be able to walk into about any high school in the country and find a half dozen kids that could act better or be more interesting than this cast. I'm not trying to pick on these kids, but I can't ever recall seeing a film where so many of the actors were just unpleasant to even watch on screen.This is one of those rare films that comes along every so often where it seems like everything went wrong. From the low budget look and poor staging of the scenes to the actors that sound like they're reading cue cards, badly, it seems like nothing goes right. And for those people that are able to make it to the end of this flick, you probably did more hurling than all the kids in this film. A Terrible Film!!! This is the kind of film IMDb should allow people to give the film a zero or maybe negative one review, because it doesn't deserve a one star!!

This was a really cute movie! I didn't know what to expect but my daughters,who are 8 and 10 saw the commercials for it on TV and asked me to buy it. They just loved it. I thought the cast was great and Jennette McCurdy did a great job. She's fun to watch on iCarly. We liked the 4 girls the solved the mystery too! My girls are hoping for a sequel!I thought the adult actors did a good job too. I didn't recognize any of them but they were talented and funny. Especially the professor. You can tell this isn't a big budget movie from a studio but it had lots of heart and I'm glad we own it. I would recommend moms buying this for their kids.
