Reality not seldom seen displayed here. I found this movie both exciting and refreshing! Excellent casting, in particular the role played by Teshia Thurman. First time seeing this actress, she has the "it" factor I'd like to see more of. I would highly recommend this movie to viewers. The outcome of situations was not the obvious, as film demanded your attention while satisfying your "wow" factor along the way. Good visual, not sure what the budget was here, but I took it as a straight to DVD movie that could have easily been on display on theaters. The cast were all exceptional in their roles. Married Men and Single Women is now a part of my movie collection. I can't wait to pop it in at my next social gathering!
... View MoreAlthough this was a movie filled with fairly new and brand new actors it was a excellent showcase. From beginning to the end I found a lot of areas where I have either experienced, known, seen or heard of a similar situation. The cast played the parts extremely well and the message was direct with humor, drama and romance. this movie really made me cry and wondered what would happen next the characters. The movie transitioned pretty well and for a movie that went straight to DVD it was a good look. The conclusion was not only shocking but an eye-opener. I love watching this movie because I enjoy movies that brings light to situations that most chose not to speak on. I trust that you will to. Kudos to the entire cast, crew and director for a wonderful movie!
... View MoreThis is such a feel good movie; you can watch it over and over and enjoy it each and every time!! The cast was great and the content is very informative, makes you think about your own relationship and what you could do to make it better or what you may be doing that's making it not so good. The humor is timed perfectly and for the cast to be composed of mostly unknown new actors, they really bring these real life events home. Very convincing performances. It really pulls you in and makes you want to see it until the very end! It takes you for a ride with an awesome twist near the end. Such a great debut and great job by it's director Steven Drayton who is the younger brother of "Flava Flav". If you enjoy a classic type movie that you can watch again and again, then you want "Married Men and Single Women" as a "must have" in your collection. Two thumbs way up!!
