Marmaduke is suppose to be so bad it only got 9% in Rotten Tomatoes yes making its grade an F. Anyways this film is based on a comic on the same name and stars a A list cast that includes, Owen Wilson from Night At the Museum franchise alongside Steve Coogan who also worked in that franchise I have mentioned,Damon Wayan Jr who is from Big Hero 6,and his brother Marlon Wayans from that god awful White Chicks flick,Emma Stone from The Amazing Spiderman and of course Fergie from The Black Eyed Peas with George Lopez from The Smurfs.It tells the tale of a dog named Marmaduke(voiced by Wilson)who's family are moving to the Orange County(O.C) in California as Marmaduke's owners(played by Lee Pace and Judy Greet from 13 Going On 30)have to move as Lee Pace's charcther has a job where he has to look after dogs with William H Macy. So Marmaduke tries his best to fit in and meets a cute dog named Maise(voiced by Emma Stone) and her two pals(voiced by Steve Coogan and Christopher Mintz Plase from How To Train Your Dragon)but of course Marmaduke has a crush on a collie(voiced by Fergie aka Stacy Ferguson Duhmel)and the problem is of course she is in the cool gang led by 24 Actor Keifer Sutherland. So can Marmaduke prove that he is a clever cool dog that belongs.Bottom line this is strictly for those who love dogs and talking animals movies like Doctor Dolittle,Babe,Racing Stripes the list goes on. Yes this movie does have A lot of CGI with their animals which makes them look unrealistic and silly but hey for some strange odd reason I kinda enjoyed this film. Maybe like I said its cause I am a dog lover and I liked the actors that are in it. Also the voice acting I can't help but think of Emma Stone and Owen Wilson in my head. Its like they were in my mind the whole time in the flesh as I seen both actors in previous films. So yes the voice acting is distracting but if you want to watch it for the dogs than be my guest as they are the real stars of this film. The story is silly,and the premise is stupid but for the animals I give it a thumbs up.One of my Guilt Pleasures. 5/10

Marmaduke. Did they really have to make this movie? The world could definitely have without this movie ever even being thought of. But Hollywood just had to go out and make another truly awful movie that they thought would just rake in the cash. But in the end it blew up in their faces because the movie ended up being a box office bomb. I'm really ticked off at the trailer for this movie though, because it actually made the movie look good and it made me want to see it. But every single little thing about this movie ended up being horrible. You see, I usually enjoy these movies that are based on comic strips and old TV shows. But this one was just bad. Also, both the acting and voice acting were terrible too. So really all that I'm saying is that this is one sad,sad excuse for a movie.

Why high school it won't be funny and it was not funny its was barley funny and George Lopez was awful at voice acting and this movie is just awful i liked it a little but its too ...... just too dumb and all they really did was copy a simple plot of high school rejects its annoying and dumb.Also animals are very bad at surfing so how did a dog who is scared of water go on a surf board and go though a massive wave and the kids dad did not look even worried when they lost vision of him.all though the ending was smarter then the entire movie the rest of the film lets it down animals fighting not the kinda thing you want kids seeing.also the kids did OK i guess at acting the parents were not very good and the way the animals speak they movement of the mouths are really bad they go the wrong way and wrong movement I've seen games with better talking faces / mouths overall this movie is dull and boring 3/10

Maybe it's because I grew up with, and still have, a Great Dane. I don't know. But I really enjoyed this movie! I therefor really don't understand all this negativity. Did people really expected it to be an award winning movie like the Godfather or Titanic?? I sure hope not. It's about a talking Great Dane for crying out loud! And it's just as good as any other "animal talking and dancing" movie, like Garfield, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Hotel for Dogs etc etc.The movie is funny and cute. And I will definitely get it on Blu-ray soon.So if you're a kid and/or a Dane or dog lover, this movie is just plain fun to watch.
