A couple and a third wheel go camping in Georgia (the one in Europe). Daniel (Dean Geyer) and Alicia (Spencer Locke) are going to be married. Chris (Sterling Knight) is the dorky best friend who had an indiscretion with Alicia. Then one of them steps on a landmine. The film digresses into a "home break-in" style film that was way too long. The dialogue wasn't great. The acting was so-so. The character of Ilya was simply bad. The film opened showing us a clearly fake landscape that morphed into something real. I thought that might have symbolized fate, being controlled by a higher power...after watching the film, I think it was the budget.Guide: F-bomb, drunk sex, rape. no nudity.

A group of three tourists, a couple on the verge of getting married and the best man, go backpacking in the mountains. They are left stuck in their paths when one of them accidentally steps on a landmine and is unable to move.During the first half of the film, its unavoidably messy, badly acted and the initial set up and reveal is very hard to believe (and the film does a bad job at helping us believe). It's all the worse when you consider how this idea could be such a neat claustrophobic thriller if done right. However, the set up leads to something rather chilling and then gives us a particularly unique last quarter which I must admit was very effective and unexpected. The last quarter worked really well, I just wish the set up was better.

The plot on IMDb sounded alright. It's terrible. I am unsure as to how voters have rated it 6.3? It goes from bad to worse with B grade acting by the lead female. Or maybe that is just her character, nonetheless it is poor. The one lone character with the dog and his role in this film is a role where we sat and felt uncomfortable and squirmed in our seats. Poor acting, poor script, just poor. You won't get that 2 hours of your life back if you watch this. Good acting by character Chris, who is caught on the landmine, during most of the film. I also love Dean Geyer as he is a fellow Aussie. His character and acting was OK but I still think the script writing was poor.

the writers of this flick should be institutionalized and they should never see daylight again as to write such a brainless material is a crime. if this is the new type of movies they make now, everyone should just quit watching movies. horrible movie written by horrible people. why did the actors agree to such a script is mind boggling. with the money spent on this dirt, however small the amount, they should have bought food for homeless people. a shame the people in the country where it was shot agreed to let them film for small amounts of $.freedom of speech sometimes needs to be denied to ones that submit such scripts.
