Kaaki Sattai (English: Tan Uniform) is a 2015 Indian Tamil action masala film co-written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Dhanush, their second collaboration after Ethir Neechal (2013). The film features Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in the lead roles. The film's music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The story revolves around police constable Mathimaran who wants to prove himself as a true, powerful cop by finding ways to solve issues of corruption in the law and order system in the department of police.It is a full and full pakka commercial entertainer for your whole family to watch without any kind of disturbing things . This movie is for people who wanna sit and enjoy just like they did it for MGR, Rajini, Vijay, Ajith or Surya. Routine formula worked for Siva to become the above mentioned fellas in future.Storyline : Any third minded person can spill the beans for this type of story line. Thanks to MGR's directors who have created that formula, still the same mindset is working for Gen Z actors and directors.Screenplay: Come on!! you know it. Right!!. The same formula (A+B)2 = A2 + B2 + 2AB. Unfortunately they even mentioned this formula in the movie.Acting: Siva is entertaining but still irritates with the same way he did it in the past. Never mind the heroine. Prabhu is grinding the same roles again and again.Music: Not memorable but you can enjoy the beats. BGM was a decent type.Cinematography: Colorful and sets the mood of the film. Maybe this is the only dept. which anyone can say a clear winner of this movie.Editing: crisp and clear cut.Art direction: Nothing much to say about it which means decent.Direction: Director can check Ajith, Vijay or Surya but make sure that you have to change the name of lead roles and also draw some sketches for lead role's haircut and costumes.Punchline: Shiva's next will be a Romantic comedy, Village commercial and the city action thriller. Wait and watch!!

Nice movie!All Tamil films released at the start of 2015 are hits,and are very entertaining!Kaaki sattai is another entertaining movie.After ethir neechal,This combo had came out very well.A very good plot,with very nice and funny dialogs,and good direction once again.Sure to entertain you.Sivakarthikeyan has made a debut as a action hero in this film,and it is nice to see him as a hero.Very good film,excellent. Overall,A funny action movie to watch with family.If you haven't watch it yet,go watch!!!I liked the movie so much and would recommend you to watch it if you haven't.My rating,10/10 excellent superb very very nice. Suitable for 11+

Durai Senthilkumar after his Ethirneechal was expected to give another social issue oriented movie and I have to say he does disappoint a little.Kaaki Sattai is all about a young ambitious cop trying to do his duty properly in a righteous way and the obstacle he face. Siva Karthikeyan as a cop may seem dumb but his portrayal is justified with enough background work. He did justify his role.Sridivya comes as a girl-next-door character and it is very good that she too has scope in this movie considering other commercial movies where it is very tough for actresses to find some scope. She did pretty well and came out with a fine performance.Prabhu's character is worth mentioning. Realistic role to say so. Characters and their development is another plus. Not too many unwanted developments that made the movie crisp. Screenplay could have been better which would have made this movie a must watch.Overall- A fine family entertainment which can be watched without logics in mind!
